Ronnie's ability to really make you feel those emotions through his music (and the visuals) is 🔥. Ronnie has done only 2 other remakes of songs which were his songs (The Drug In Me is Reimagined and I'm Not A Vampire: Revamped). This is his first reimagined song from another artist.
Ronnie just re-introduced this song to a whole new generation of listeners and those same lyrics just hit different.
That's not entirely correct though. He did remake "Gangsta's Paradise" (and Coolio is in the videoclip)

Papa Roach's "Last Resort" was a song that came out in 2000. It was much faster paced, and was a bit of an "angry Teenager" style song. But with the same lyrics.
Many people used it to 'rage out' to after bad days at school, loosing a game, or just bad day in life in general.
For some of us though, it was a quit literal life-saver song, even in its faster-angrier-version.
Ronnie captures what this song was for those of us who were kept afloat by the original song.

So Reamagined before this song was them doing their own stuff and this was the first time they did someone elses song. Ronnie is talented AF, I missed them 2 weeks ago in Hershey. But they are sure on my bucket list. Their music is so relatable, the power of music.

He did coolio’s gangsters paradise but that wasn’t a reimagined song.

As far as I know this is the only not original they have done since Gangstas Paradise - feat Coolio (rip😢) That was a punk version from the mix album Punk Goes 90's with many diff bands.

For me, Ronnie takes emotions to a very dark crevice and passionately exploits them as if every single moment depends on that specific feeling to run its course. Pours his soul into the words delivered. Being a Pisces myself I'm fully aware of feeling emotions 12 times stronger than the rest of the Zodiac seeing as how were a combination of all the signs. His videos portray exactly what it simulates in our heads and im sure there are many who are feeling so desolate yet screaming to be heard by anyone who can makes sense of the nonsense.
