The best reloading press is the one you can afford. The Lee Hand press he uses in this video lists new on Amazon for $60 to $75.. The Buchanan Precision Machine Hand Reloading Press lists as new on their website for $250. I have been reloading for over 40 years, and I think this is a great video that shows how the basics of how it is done, especially if you are on a budget.
One of the first rules to understand in reloading is that every dollar put into equipment adds to the cost of a reloaded bullet. Many start reloading to save money and it may take 1000's of bullets to be reloaded before you start to break even with the bullets you could have been purchased in a store.
I have to add this to my comment. I also really like how an old bullet box is used as a tray to hold the shell casing as the case is primed and powdered in preparing it for the seating of the bullet. Years ago, once I realized that a discarded old shell box from store bought bullets worked as well as the shell holding trays sold by the main Reloading Equipment Manufacturers, I started using them. They are free if you pick them up at a range. And 9mm trays from store bought ammo work great to hold .223 brass as well as the 9mm brass for which it was designed. This really helped a few years ago when I went on a reloading binge. In addition to having several trays to hold the brass while adding powder, these trays helped me to count, keep track, and inspect the brass.
