I found some of the MOST HILARIOUS and WORST fake Minecraft 1.18 speedruns that have been submitted… In this video, I talk about these runs and break them down, and it was insane.

i have a hard time believing that some of these aren't deliberately "fake" speed-runs for the lulz. like, you edit the footage already to cut out the parts where you cheat openly, why NOT edit out the dyed sheep that no speed runner would even have a reason to have put there in the first place? they took TIME to deliberately place that sheep there and then deliberately left the footage of it in. in no world would anyone think that was a legit run, and the creators had to have known it.

And yeah that one was probably dyed but pink sheep can very rarely naturally spawn 🤣

The biggest red flag of all of the cheating was that they didnt have a coca-cola and pizza next to them

3:58 his run is also failed because on the chest gui it says “steal” in the top left meaning hes using impact client (a hacked client)

Was watching this while working on an romhack for Super Mario 64, booted it up to run some tests and got confused why the music was playing twice until I paused the game and realized that you were playing Bob-omb Battlefield in the video. Definitely a good laugh.
Also at 5:55 the dragon actually takes substantial damage if you blow up a crystal while she’s healing from it.
imagine if a speed runner was doing a ligit speedrun and actually got a full portal. no one would believe them
and isn't in it theory possible? imagine that a ruined portal spawns missing blocks, but lava spawns in such a way that if there is a water-fall spawned close enough above...
You can provide the seed with /seed
There are literally commands that let you turn off command output messages and clear your advancements. They could've at least done that.
6:00 I know that the dragon can take damage from exploding crystals, but that's just too much damage

3 golems in a village isn't that uncommon, hang around a slightly larger than average village for a few days and you'll get them. You need like 10-15 villagers consistently working tho
But he got 3 of them right at the start, which is way too quick.

I keep hearing that it's rare to spawn near villages, but I usually always spawn near one. In my newest world, I spawned near 3 villages. There wasn't great loot, but still 👁
if you spawn in a hilly plains you can get really lucky. if you create a world using just that biome, you get so many you'll get sick of them: it's more than even a super-flat.

Fun fact! Grass is only able to become dirt if you break the block so the speedrunner obviously broke the grass and forgot to put it back
0:47 pause screen opens automatically if the player has alt tabbed during world load and remains until you click unpause.

Fact is when you go to the nether or end you will get advacment but alot of the fake runs they dont get a advancment.

to be honest it is posssible to find 4 tools in a chest of a ruined portal. i once found all enchanted golden tools except for a sword

Funny story, in a world we are currently still on, me and my brother built a nether portal, only for it to end up right next to a nether fortress. It's on the Xbox 360's newest update, which was the ocean update.

Fun fact: If you're tabbed out of Minecraft as the world loads, it automatically pops up the pause menu, but there is a brief moment of gameplay before it does so. So, the pause menu on load itself isn't suspicious, what is suspicious is that it doesn't show that half-second of play before it pauses the game.

Hey, just a fun fact and personal experience: Portals can in fact spawn near a Nether Fortress. One of the first worlds I generated in the PS4 version of Minecraft did just that!

Not to mention the pink sheep in the stronghold which has a 0.184% chance of spawning per chunk of 16 by 16 blocks, at the highest block in the X and Z coordinates, but never in strongholds

It’s funny how most fake speedruns dont even get close to being the world record, meaning faking it is basically pointless anyway
These videos are funny as hell my jaw nearlly fell off maybe because i was drunk but speedrunners really need to learn chest spawns and to fill in their holes

What's funny is that I recently started a new world and spawned in a snowy plains biome with two villages and a ruined nether portal nearby.
