I enjoyed this! The Gulf at Biloxi is SO great. I remember walking (what seemd) hundreds of feet off the beach and being in chest-high, bathwater-warm water. It was great. Copmare to L.A. where you'd be neck-deep in cold water after 5 or 10 steps off the beach. I hope the people of Biloxi-Gulfport appreciate what a great home they have. :-)
Yeah, unfortunately, the water isn't safe to go into now, with all the toxic algae blooming out there. It was never the cleanest water, but back in the old days, nobody cared. People would swim right at the sewage outlets where the resorts would dump their waste.
Nice video. But how come campers were parked at Southern Memorial Gardens cemetary?? That is disrespectful of the families who have relatives in that cemetary.
I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. I would think they would restrict that sort of thing, but maybe nobody was around to tell them to go elsewhere.
I DNT remember cones in 2015/16/ or 17. I may be wrong. I know 17 was ended Friday night bc of hurricane. I know the cops are way more over kill now. You used to could squeal a tire and be fine. Also it used to get wild making noise with exhaust and I DNT hardly hear that anymore. I understand you can't act an idiot, there has to be some order I know, but it's going extremely south. Also I Wana see registered vehicle counts from 2018/19 bc they were up to 8000 and Sumn????
Where we were staying in Biloxi, you could hear burnouts and unmuffled exhaust for a few hours on Friday and Saturday night. It stopped like someone turned off a switch at around 11:00 pm. We had a similar experience at the Hampton Inn a couple of years ago. I would have gotten video of that but it was too dark. I’m not sure about traffic cones in 2017. I believe I did some video the first (only) weekend that year. I also wonder about how many people actually enter, versus the number of people who just bring out their old cars and stake out (rent) a spot on an empty lot just to spectate or show off their cars. They do claim 8,308 entrants for 2017. But I couldn’t find any numbers from last year or this year.
@@504RoadTrips That's what I really wana see, and that will tell the story, is the numbers from 18/19. Please understand I'm not trying to argue with you or hate on you. I DNT have social media. I wanted to comment and see how much response it gets and see what others think.
I understand. I'm curious to see those numbers and comments too. I think the initial surge of views this video got is almost over, but you may get some other replies over time.
So who thinks it totally sucked this year and last year. Not as many cars, or people, and no fun. Construction cones in the way, and over kill of law. Go back to 2015/16. Comment if you agree it's dieing slowly!!!!!! Thanks BPD
Are the cones a new thing? It seems like I remember them being there in past years. I also didn't notice a lack of cars, although when we headed west early Sunday afternoon, it was like everyone had packed up and left early in the morning.

It's bigger every year. It's just spread out from O.S. to the Bay.
