How can you avoid the trademark being considered descriptive. I want to trademark the name of my product. I created the name (and someone has already tried to copy it) but I’m afraid it will be considered “descriptive”. Any suggestions?

we used our trademark since 2000 and yet the tm lawyer at the Tm office decided that we had to clear the English translation of the word (there is no clear translation) and caused us to wait till 2011 to declare our tm. even though we had a distinctive mark and word and were using it for years

Do you have a video about what to do when they deny your trademark because your date printed/accessed specimens are not correct? I'm so frustrated. I should not have to get a lawyer to get a trademark for my blog. It should not be this complicated. what if a business has a similar name to yours but isnt trademarked? i want to trademark "ali law associates" however, there are other businesses called "ali law group" that is not trademarked. since they arent trademarked first, would i be able to trademark my business?

To make sure I understand about your second point...if you have a product you plan to sell (class 014) that's name is a specific descriptor of what it does, you're saying that has a high chance of not getting approved? Filing for 1b.

I'm trademarking multiple classes. Such as my store sells 25, 21, 16, 27, and possibly more in the near future. If a trademark covers a number of different classes, is the USPTO less likely to approve someone selling something I don't, coffee for example, or does it not matter at all? How big of a brand does a brand need to be before they disallow anyone from using it? Years back a new chain of inexpensive hotels named themselves McSleep. They lost in court to McDonalds.
