This radio had a prominent place in my adventuring collection, in an old ALICE pack in my little red wagon with many toy guns (from the '80s, before they were painted fluorescent colors), plus the GI Joe Survival Bag, a bandolier of spent 7.62mm rounds, and the Army Gear binoculars playset which looked like the Star Wars macrobinoculars. Thanks for the fond memories of a better time.

That’s a good question, I never tested the full range. I tested it around 100ft from my back yard and worked pretty good.
