Well, this will be the third tumbler you've inspired me to copy. Love you! Love your videos!!
Loving all those colors and the crinkles give it such a beautiful dimension. Beautiful ð stay blessed love ðĨ°
I'm excited to try this method.
Beautiful colors. Thanks for sharing âĪ
It's absolutely gorgeous
New subscriber here!! You had me at âdid I just spill ink on my fake wood table?ââĶ then wipes it with her t-shirt!! ðĪĢ ðĪĢ Love it!!! But not quite as much as I LOVE this cup!! WOWâĶ what a stunner!!
As for the sanding dilemma (canât judge me cause Iâve never even done a tumbler!âĶ so Iâve never not sanded oneâĶ and I swear, if I ever do oneâĶ Iâll sand it ð)âĶ anyway (obviously, I digress also!) back to the sanding dilemmaâĶ would it work if you put it on the cup turner whilst it dried? Just asking?
SoâĶ Iâm actually a resin artistâĶ and a wanna-be resin tumbler artistâĶ and very probably a resin, wine glass tumbler artistâĶ and I donât even drink wineâĶ (but, apparently, they sell like hot cakes)âĶ I, like you, use a huge-ass keep cup that stays full of coffee 24/7! ðģ
And yesâĶ I wanna see a marbled one!! Mind you, this vid was put up 4 months agoâĶ so youâve prolly already done one!?! Luckily Iâm off to check out your channel right now!!
Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia) âĨïļâĨïļðĶðš
Hello Ms Heather ðnew to your channel and sweetie your just a wonderful breath of fresh air ðŦķðŧðĨ°love this cupðĨ°âĶI learned from a different videoâĶ.cling wrap has a sticky side and a ânot so stickyâ side it was amazing the different effects she got from just flipping the cling wrapðŦĢðĪwho knewâĶnot this old girl LOL ðĪĢthank you for the fantabulous video I canât wait to try itðĪðŧðð·HaPpY SuNdAy FunDayâĢïļ
I also read that if you freeze your cling wrap or Saran Wrap it will lay out smooth as glass!! I canât wait to try this âĪð
I love the brightness of the alcohol ink from krafty kow or crafty cow. Canât remember if it is k or c but think k
When I do this technique I use only the white pre-painted sublimation tumblers as I don't need to worry about lifting off the paint and alcohol ink when removing the plastic wrap. Works great every time.
that is a great tip and idea!!! those sub tumblers are a huge hassle saver in certain scenarios.. thank you!!
Ganhou um escrito do Brasil linda
Niiiiice!
Hey there, first off, you are f**ken AWESOME!! ...if I am using sublimation ready tumblers do I still have to sand and spray paint first? Sorry fif this is a silly question but I'm just starting to venture into cups, tumblers etc ...thanks ;-)
Iâve never used Saran Wrap either
Love this cup! Itâs super pretty as is & Iâm totally going to try it, but wondering about merging this method with something that Myra Makes It did a few months ago. When the edges of her ink were still wet, she applied foil & it was a jaw dropper. Sooooo, if the crinkle lines were still a little wet when removing the plastic wrap that might be interesting.
That sounds absolutely gorgeous! And yes, those little crinkles on the lip were definitely unexpected. The thing was, it didn't happen every time. And I grabbed cups that I had already spray painted out in the garage so to be honest is entirely possible that I skipped sanding this little wine glass by accident. The gold foil would be amazing!!!
@@wickedwhiskeydesigns sorry. I meant the webbed / lace looking areas. Were they still wet?
No, everything was dry when I took off the plastic.. when I did the first cup which was primarily purples and greens and blues I thought about going in and using either a gold paint pen to add a little bit of a marbling effect but then I kind of thought that was going to contrast a little too much if there was really strong stained glass look to it. If that makes sense :-) LOL
