Over the years I feel like we have learned that Vin doesn't like sharing the spotlight in this franchise
of course he doesn't, while other actors have more success finding other acting jobs, the Fast franchise is really the only thing going for Vin Diesel, let's be honest, he really has nothing else to bank on as an actor, and other actors are much more talented that he is. So he always wants to be the center of attention in his Fast movies
he doesn't like having bigger actors than him being in his films and stealing spotlight from him.
Jason Momoa is a genuinely good guy with a good head on his shoulders. If Vin is beefing, it’s obvious he’s the problem and not Momoa.
Right, I understood somehow why he had problems with Johnson, especially after recognizing how narcissistic Johnson seems to be. The behavior towards Henry Cavill opened my eyes.
But Jason Momoa? He is as cool and kind as it gets, just like Henry.

I do not know which kind of person Vin is, but he seemed to be a relaxed guy.
I understood the problem he had with Johnson, but not why he should be angry with Momoa.
@budgiecat2885 it’s one thing to court someone (in this case into F&F) and and change once you have them. Same with Vin/Johnson, except I don’t think Momoa would need to feed his ego like the other two. Vin has always given the vibe that he has to be the face of the franchise. It just makes sense.

Vin diesel and The Rock are two divas who think they are great actors. For crying out loud Vin last great movie he was in was Saving Private Ryan where is character was the first to get killed off. There is a big reason you don’t get these actors acting next to great actors as Tom Cruise, Edward Norton, Denzel Washington, Cillian Murphy etc…

Seeing momoa in the trailers and hearing about his performance in fastX made me sit down and binge from 7 to 10 …. 💀☠️ I self inflicted and had to endure more pain and agony than I should have but momoa was pretty fucking awesome especially that scene where they drag race and momoa talking to those dead dudes doing their nails. I think Vin might be jeolous. But I don't think he would publicly tell everyone. Vin's acting is so so. Contrastly, Keanu praised Scott Adkins, Donnie Yen, and other famous action stars in the JW franchise. He is such a humble person with top notch professional ethics.

Love Jason Momoa, got a chance to see him (didn't get to meet him) in person at a screening here in New Zealand. While i really enjoyed Fast X Momoa was hands down the best part in this film.

I thought jason mamoa was one of the best acted villains of the whole series and written super well. After like 20 years of being the same character the movie tends to not have you as the number 1 spotlight specially when it's an action movie where the villain makes or breaks the plot/film..
I feel like the trinity was Dom, Brian and Mia/Letty, they have no screen presence otherwise.

I think Vin Diesel forgot what kind of movie series he’s working on. This isn’t the Godfather Trilogy. A car goes into space for God’s sake. Some people need to take a chill pill, be humble, and have some fun.
Vin Diesel feuds with any male better looking or is more popular than he is. Everyone tried to put the blame on the Rock, but the truth finally is coming to light about DIESEL'S behavior on the set or whenever he decided to show up on set, that is. Diesel's shenanigans is to blame for the original director quitting, the man was fed up.
If Vin Diesel was such a stand up guy and honestly cherishes the idea family, after the death of Paul Walker should have ended the franchise. But the money is what literally drives Diesel, this isn't honoring a friend or family. He gets a huge cut of the profits of these movies, because he is a producer as well. 🤨
This is also the same VIN that wants Robert Downey Jr. in F&F, a guy that would act circles around him. Be jealous but care about the franchise enough to be happy with the succession brought to it from someone not you.
To be honest, when you’re acting alongside Vin, just about anything you do can look like overacting.

Considering they wrote it that way, Mamoa's character as a campy Joker meets Bane meets Kingpin was great for the movie, and Vin is probably all ego, maybe. Toretto barely emotes. His character is a straight man when he talks, and you can't really understand what he's saying.
In the first movies dom torretto’s character had plenty of charisma. Now it’s just Vin Diesel phoning it in and grumbling

It's weird, I follow the franchise for Michelle, not Vin. However, I thought he had great charisma and cool in F1. I loved the chemistry between him and Paul, too over the years.
It is also well known that Vin Diesel's ego is as big as fragil. Jason Momoa is a big star and he's also the new guy in the franchise so it's obvious that his performance has to drag people's attention, his character must be a challenge for Toretto so IF this rumour is true then Vin is gonna have to deal with it as professional as he can. I'm a fan of Vin Diesel,that said... It'd be kinda pathetic on his side

I believe the rumor. While I agree that, what is good for the franchise is good for Vin, but Vin has also shown his ego and doesn't like anyone stealing his spotlight. From what I've heard, Momoa was not the only good part of the movie, so it doesn't surprise me Vin takes it personally... he can't stand not being No. 1 (an issue Dwayne Johnson has as well).
I want to see The Rock and Momoa in a spin-off together.

Vin just jealous because he's not the best part of these movies. Everyone loved Paul Walker. These movies weren't making anywhere near a billion dollars until The Rock showed up. Now Mamoa is the star of Fast X. Nobody is forcing Vin to act terribly or use bad scripts thus having bad movies. Jason wasn't even that great he was mediocre at best and that still outshined the rest of the cast that's an indictment on everyone else not Jason
No harm, but Vin Diesel is a legit terrible actor. Who got very lucky to be a part of a franchise that’s as successful as Fast & Furious. He’s milked that cow so hard now that the films aren’t doing as well. He needs to go away and expand his repertoire. Vin needs to calm down. The movie was great and entertaining and Jason brought it. I love all of the characters and can watch the series over again like it’s the first time I’ve seen it. Many of my favorite actors are in the movie. It can never be a Fast and Furious without Vin. Share the love and stop feuding if you are.
