When I listen to these guys, I often believe it's impossible for human beings to sing any better. If the music in heaven is better than this (and you KNOW it will be, by a long shot), we're gonna need those glorified bodies just to listen, lol. And I LOVE Michael's soaring tenor notes toward the end. Just exquisite.

The song 🎵 I Will Serve Thee is written in Frisian. The words were penned by William Crosby who was Cornish. He became bishop of Price UT but was defrocked in 1973 by the American Bishop's Council due to his stand against racial bigotry. After the William Crosby came to a monestery in Missouri where I met him. The words of I Will Serve Thee were written as he worked his way through what had happened to him at the Bishop's Conference. I put the tune with the words.
STARRI: I believe it is on one of the sets at Bill Gaithers Studio in Alexandria In. where most of their videos are made. They have several different settings for the Old Church sceines and Camping grounds settings, and this Country Store/Garage set. but they are actually inside large studios, I think for sound control. Also they have big boom cameras for overhead shots, so all that video and sound equipment has to be inside. The Big Tent Revival set is at the Billy Graham Library, and is a permanent setting. Then they do outdoor concerts at different locations and large venues at stadiums and concert facilities across America. Concerts are for the paying public, but tapeings, like this, usually aren't, due to limited space for seating. Bill's group of artists is about 200-300 people and take up most of the available seats. They are responsible for the great harmony of backup singing. This is also a retirement community for many of the oldest singers and artists that can no longer stand the rigours of traveling the circuits in buses. They can bask in the love of those that adore them, and they have inspired to become Singers for GOD! The best retirement plan I have ever seen!
