Beautiful blessings and thank you for the talk on the Pendle witches I always feel the pain and sorrow for the way they were treated and how they died your explanation was wonderful 💜🌹💜 Lammas Blessings to you 🌾
Thank you for this outstanding presentation. The countryside, structures and botanical specimens are a visual delight. Additionally, the story of the Pendle witches was beautifully presented. Your calming voice and gentle manner made this significant and meaningful history lesson memorable and inspiring.
And thank you for your lovely words and for coming along on the adventure with me! So glad you liked it. Have a magical Lammas, if you’re celebrating 🌾🌞
@@ianthomas4498 Thanks for the link, Ian. Brilliant job, Gail. I mentioned to Ian that I visited Pendle eons ago when I lived in Leeds, and you have presented an incredibly detailed context for the whole Pendle Witches saga. Full marks.
This was very interesting and beautifully done. I love the music and your voice is very nice to listen to. Thank you for sharing, and a Happy Lammas to you, as well. 🌞🌻🌽💛
Thanks Cynthia. I love the music too and had it picked out long before I filmed any of the locations. I should really take the time to list the titles/artists in the description box! Have a magical Lammas season 🌞🌾
Wonderful video, so informative and respectful of the environment and the women wrongly accused. I get such joy from your videos. Thankyou and bright blessings sister ❤
Most of this video is filmed in / near the village of Downham on the West side of Pendle hill. Pendle district is on the East side of the hill. Still, you got the known facts right 🙂
Yes, that’s right. It’s a beautiful village and from the fields you can get an uninterrupted view of Pendle Hill. Quite a bit was filmed in and around Barley too. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Imagine a fella who had a bible written to get the church to look away from the fact he has boyfriend of being a giant misogynist. I feel awful for those women.
Thank you for this history , all the beautiful visuals of this landscape, and your tender remembrance of these witches.
You are so welcome. Thanks for watching! 😀

Thanks for watching, Abigail. It’s a tragic story. It’s good that so many now recognise the injustice of what happened to them.

Thanks Ian. And thanks for sharing the link! 😀
Thanks so much! I never intended to go into quite as much detail about the historical context, but it’s such a big story! 😅

Wonderful journey into the past, the heart of the country and heart of the innocents. Interweaved with herbs and certainly a bit of magic.
Thanks, Bri! Magic being back there for a few days. 🌾🌞

The more you delve into the case the more difficult it is to determine whether it was fear of witches or fear of women.
