The last Tibetan tax collector of upper Siang was dzong Dewa Lama. Dewa lama was last seen in 1948. After that the trade road Called "Gone matne" closed n we lost contact with our people beyond Mcmohan line.
Did the "Modi" clan of Adi Minyong tribe also move to Gujarat. The Modi surname is also found in Gujarat. Narendra Modi, Kokila Modi must be your relatives. Hahaha. The above mentioned clan are not minyong ok. It is just your assumption. "Mixiong" is how it is written in Pinyin. Actually it is "Misu"

Monpas of West Kameng trace their ancestry from Bhutan and on the other hand Monpas of Tawang District trace their ancestry from Mon Tsona in Tibet.
