The first time i threw a leg over it, I knew it was very special. Literally get compliments on it at every gas station even by non-riders. Hahaha! Now you know. The Buell xb12 is a beast! The Yamaha has a higher top end, but the XB will out-corner that Yamaha, all day long. In 2009, the XB12Scg, was rated the best handling bike on the road. Don't get me wrong, I would love to own a 2005 Honda 600rr, and an 03-05 Dyna (with apes, hard-bags, and a Two Bros exhaust) , but I would not trade my 05 XB12Scg for anything out there. lol, I'm about to go from a 2007 600rr to a xb12s (if a track were closer I would keep it). How comfortable is the xb? Looking for something I can stay on for more than 1hr without cramping up.
ha ha owned many bikes, many Buells (currently have a 1125CR) had a FZ1, If you think the Buell XB12 is fast you should try a 1125 or KTM 1290 Duke, they are on another level. I love the old Harley Buells as they have a ton of Soul. The 1125 is much more refined and does everything better but my old Buell had more soul was like a good dog, some work but you just love it.
Nice video. Long time multiple buell owner here. Gotta watch cutting corners and riding on the yellow paint. I’ve seen 2 people go down leaned over and hitting the slick yellow paint. It is around here anyways.

To my humble opinion, a XB12 without a tickled ECM/air filter upgrade/race exhaust is quite tame.
