So glad that your mum is home and doing OK. Must have been awful knowing that something serious enough for those phone calls had happened and not knowing what it was, your mind always goes to worse case scenarios . Wishing you a peaceful Christmas and thank you for all of the great content you've given us ❤
thank you so much! mum is doing well and you’ll see her in next weekend’s vlog 🎉 happy holidays and hope you get time to do whatever keeps you calm and happy 😊
Your mum is my mum. (I’ve been without a mother for 40 years, so I love to cheer on those who love their mommas). I’m so glad she is ok. I’m sorry she’s suffered from more stroke symptoms. Even in your uneventful-eventful weekend you have managed to read a goodly amount of books. You have become my favorite BookTuber!! I truly appreciate your willingness to share your life and your pups. I love to see Lucy and Patty. Merry Christmas dear bookish friend!🎄📚☺️
this is such a lovely comment - thank you so much for the kind words! And thank you for spending your precious time watching. wishing you restful and contentment this holiday season 🥰
So glad that your Mom’s doing better! Sending you and your family lots of positive thoughts 💖 Merry Christmas!!🎄 Hope you guys have a gorgeous, relaxing, cozy time! 💖
she’s home, with a zimmer and some physio, so she should still make it over for christmas dinner and if so you’ll get to see us both in next weekends video. hope you have happy holidays if you are doing anything for this time of year even if it’s just time off
I love your longer weekend updates and will gladly watch one that incorporates your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day content, even if it's after the fact. Loved seeing Lucy's closeup. She's a darling pup, and Lucy's face is so darn cute. Sending healing thoughts to you mom, and Happy Reading to you!.
thank you for watching and i’ve let lucy know your lovely comments 🐾 mum is doing really well and will be in our next video thankfully as she’ll be over for christmas dinner. happy holidays to you x
So pleased that your mum is out of hospital, hope she feels much better very soon. Wishing you a very happy Christmas & look forward to your next vlog 😘
It's good to hear that your Mum is on the mend. 😊Although I don’t care for smutty books, I don’t mind a book that incorporates eroticism into its content. For example, I’ve just read “The Use of Photography” by Annie Ernaux and Marc Marie. This French couple shows us 14 photographs of their clothing strewn about on the floor as a prelude to their lovemaking sessions. Rather than writing about the sex act itself, they talk about the intimate things they discussed such as Annie’s chemotherapy treatments, art, literature, love and loss, etc. We learn how they spend their time together. There’s an erotic subcontext without smuttiness.
thank you. yea she’s hope with a zimmer and some extra aids and will be getting at home physio but should be good to be round at ours for Christmas day so hopefully you’ll see her in next weekends video x
thank you so much. she’s doing really well, she’s got a zimmer at the moment and physio happening at home so doing well and will be over for christmas dinner so you’ll see her in my video next weekend hopefully xxx
well i tried and have confirmed as i thought smut isn’t for me! mum is doing well she’s at home with a zimmer and had at home physio so that’s all good
I felt so bad for you not being able to contact David or your sister once you knew something was wrong. Waiting is torture. I am so relieved to hear your mom is doing well. I am sorry you had a couple disappointing reads. It happens, but I always feel I want my time back 😂. I’m looking forward to your Christmas content to watch in the liminal space between Christmas and the New Year. Cozy and festive is where my mind has gone 🍪 🫖 🤶
Glad your mums doing better, even I was getting anxious waiting to hear what had happend. When I was in hospital to be induced with my son, i walked around my cubical reading "The eyes of darkness" by Dean Koontz and ended up 10cm dilated before i noticed I was in labour and 20 minutes later he was born, would'nt recommend though because then I didnt have enough time for any pain killers to work 😅😅
i debated whether to keep that in the video - me panicking after missing the calls early morning - but felt like i was talking to you all and i couldn’t pretend it didn’t happen. i love how you got lost in a book during labour wow that’s epic. the lack of pain killers less so!!! have you reread it since?
@@MeMyDogAndBooks Im glad you could talk to us, it's better than trying to keep it in and possibly making yourself more anxious. That was my re-read of the book, I have my Dean Koontz books all saved up for my daughter(12) shes into the creepy and wierd like her mum 😁
thank you for understanding it’s tough innit. but thanks for watching and commenting and being with me on this journey. wishing you contentment this holiday season x

@@MeMyDogAndBooks It's always good to realize when a book is not for you. Every book has its reader but sometimes that reader is not you or me.😀
