@@theclaverman...you’re right it isn’t the same, its better...and the cheaper alternative coming from a previous Nord Stage 3 (88) owner. I sold my board for a Roland A88 MK2, RME Babyface Pro FS and a 14 MacBook Pro M2...all that is less than the Nord Stage 3 in terms of cost and you get way more.
Me too. I think having all this inside the board is great. Equally, vst's with a good controller is a great solution as well. Must say Nords are loved because they are great 💜

4000+ Grand seems to be ... BUT this seems to be one of the most complete stage keyboard instrument for a pro ... so the price is relative: its a pro tool

Every Nord should be supplied with a JD to help you get the best out of it....sounds awesome on a 7-1 surround system, that bass shakes the floorboards.

Just go the midi route...I had a Nord Stage 3 (88) and I don't miss it....it was great though but you get way more with a good Midi Controller and a computer.
I'm done with Nord. I've had a very good time playing on these keyboards. What the Nord does, it does it so well... But for that price, I want more features. More arps. More layering capacities. Jack's video made me order a K2700 to replace my red keyboard... wait and see...
Patch 45 pwm pan 1 - isn’t that a direct rip off of saw table in serum vst, with filter sounds exactly like the chain smokers and Coldplay serum synth on “something just like this”, great sound but not exactly original. For 4.5k I’d expect nord to not only have a sample editor but an advanced arp programmer. Look into some of the stuff avenger do with their vst and arp design. It’s truly inspiring.
That is a sweet over priced keyboard!! I will be sticking with omnisphere 2 for now and my kawai mp7se till i can afford it!God bless whoever has the 6000 dollars laying around to get that nord. By the time i can finally afford it the nord stage 5 will be out lol. Love your work sir!!!!!
Your stage 3 will dramatically go down in value on the used market so if your going to sell your 3 for the 4 then your going to loose alot of your money you lost.

Pardon me, but frankly-All this is an uncultured parody of KURZWEIL OC3A with the lower quality as well. I had it already and be very happy to take it off…
I’m sure people are tired of hearing this but…. It’s simply not worth $5600 US. Sonically, functionally, or otherwise. No expansion in the piano section? Really? No more song list section? Really? No built in audio interface? Really? No upgraded organ sound engine or Leslie sim? Really? At $2999 maybe.
I think you have missed the point not everyone wants to gig with a computer and with my experience over the years this is a quality instrument, yes expensive but fab quality sounds are what nord’s are good at

It sounds like a $7600 cdn synth should sound... that last patch is a beast, orchestra synth .. that's an amazing synth patch, epic patch.

Looks like you are using all the outputs of the Stage 4 could you explain how its configured for the recording.
