Again one of those unauthorized people crossing the tracks at the end like an idiot! Past few weeks we've had people hit at Freeport, Merrick, Great River, Mineola, New Hyde Park, and of course right there in Bethpage. People can't wait 30 seconds?

+Matthew Kowal (Matt102490) Oh I actually got 2 people. When that M7 came in and blew the horn stopping Eastbound, the person was yelled at by the engineer and I watched the whole thing too!

That'll teach them, I also noticed that people were literally next to the train as it was going through the crossing while accelerating. In all honesty Stewart Avenue needs to be full quadrant gated since it's one of the most hazardous crossings on the LIRR. Right now Little Neck Parkway in Little Neck (only crossing on the PW Branch) is the only fully quadrant gated crossing. Growing up on the Island, I befriended many engineers that when I did the horn gesture they always blew the horn and waved and always followed rules. One engineer actually let me blow the horn (scared passengers though because he told me when to blow it, and I had no idea it was stopped at Mineola!

    Doesn't that bell get annoying?

      +Benjanicknames I find it catchy, it's a melodic tune.
