I wish I had more time, it's easier / better to get aboard before the paying public arrives and I did have a lot of mornings in the classroom. Yes, hopefully more boats including a Marlow next time!
That is not quarter sawn wood. It’s just a pattern they made by turning each piece of wood so the grain makes a design. Quarter sawn is a specific way in which they slice the lumber to change the grain pattern. Love the quick tours. Selene is our favorite!
Thank you Sandy, I was sure someone would comment. Whatever it is called (there is a name for everything, right?) it looks great! Appreciate your comments!
Plum Bows are going to revolutionize trawler/commuter/cruiser boating not because of good seakeeping (definitely goes right into the wave) but definitely because ultra fast ultra *"quiet"(on the water)* ultra efficient but most importantly creates space in the bow area which used to be...well...on the bow was up there #axopar obviously been true in sailboats since the 1970s #thistle_sailboat 😊😊
What a genuinely nice guy you are Jeff, as the guy in your video said thoroughly enjoy watching your videos.
Thank you Jamie - I have a lot of fun with my job!

Enjoyed meeting you at Fest.
Thank you, great to meet you too!
Disappointed you didn't do a walkthrough of the Marlow! Beautiful boat. Maybe next time....

George: Hasn't happened yet in the trawler world, but things are always changing. Thank you for your note.
the veneer on the door is called "book matched"
Thank you, that is what Trevor Brice called it in the video. I have since looked up quarter sawn online and book matched is a better description.
No Nordhavn’s?
Jeff: It all depends upon the local market activity. We had a N50 on display in Stuart in 2024. Sometimes they sell before the event begins...
