Great peek into the Kappe lifestyle, thank you. The roller cover over the pool to keep out the leaves sounds good. Wonder if the leaves would bind the mechanism though? 🤓
What happened? From a beautiful place and materials and environments... I find myself watching a feeling of horror movie? The soundtrack, the voice, the still plan on the owner's face, the walk of tiredness of the old people... bbbrrrrr
I got his books the filming is too short though & his impeccable interior aesthetics wasn't featured that much especially the details fascinating contemporary architect 💖👍👌
You need to put more up lifting music's for these amazing architectures. With your music they look very depressing and that's a shame cause the architecture is beautiful
I didn't like how this film was composed. I feel like when you use another medium it should add something that is specific to that medium - in this case, the ability to capture 3-dimensional movement within a space. This was basically just a series of still photographs. Maybe that works for some people, but I really feel it was a missed opportunity :/
This music is not fitting at all. With such a beautiful, peaceful building, this music becomes so distracting from both the lightness of the building and the voice of the architect. The next scene should be Oedipus' revelation of his sins with this kinda music going on. sheeeiiittt

I had the pleasure of walking through this property during a tour of homes in the 1990’s, which included the Eames House… a truly memorable day.
I hear him in a lecture in SCI-Arc and he is the most incredible inspiring person.
