When gold dipped hard in 2022, I started stacking aggressively. In recent months I've pulled back to no more than a trickle - picking up fractional old world gold here and there. Had a good run of selling silver eagles into the hype recently. The market can have my silver eagles; I'll take the gold. 🤑
In my head I think of accumulation in dollar terms because then I can easily divide expenses with total amount to see How much time I have covered. When I open the vault and see it visually I think in ounces terms, because I want more and more for the visual satisfaction and joy. I look at the gold and it’s like the fruits of my labor manifested into something real. I absolutely love it 🤩

High yield saving account is another good tactic right now with them giving 4-5% apy
I used to buy based on the percentage of my portfolio. I did it that way for a long time, actually. More recently I've realized that I'm in a pretty good place in most aspects so I've been doing what I feel like. When you're looking at a ~20 year window for retirement if you're looking at real estate, stocks or gold it feels like it's hard to lose

well, in terms of planning. I buy what i can, when i can, going by what i can spend on Gold yearly it can add up to roughly 4-5 ounces which seems pretty good to me and having a bucket list of what coins around the world to buy once only seems to excite me.

He is like u ..str8 forward no hype..Yall like gold but know 80% of the users are Silver bugs cause they think the lower an assett is the more you can buy and they wait for the BIG Move up lol.. I say buy Quality with cheaper mark up ( Premiums) Gold.. again to each his own..

I started buying precious metals 5 yrs ago with my first coin being a Mexican 50 pesos known to us 🇲🇽🇺🇸 as a Centenario… then 3 yrs ago really started buying every two weeks Gold and silver not sure how much I have in total but I take a peak every 4-5months I’m really surprised how much I have now. Steady on buying not rushing or breaking the bank. 🙏🏽🙏🏽. God bless brothers and sisters

I am not trying to keep up with anyone. I am just focused on my plan. That is to keep my debt close to 0, save money in my TSP/401k, working on getting 10% of my retirement savings in precious metals, and try to balance having fun with my life along with saving for retirement.

I really just need enough to buy myself a few dozen acres in my home country in West Africa. Owning real estate and farmland is my end game, gold is just the best way to save the money. And there's no property tax there. In reality, I really don't need all that. As long as I have enough acreage to grow my own food, and sit under my guava tree and play with my pigmy goats all day, I'm happy.

Goals are inspirational but if they’re not set extremely high, you’re wasting time. Go big!
I like small goals for reinforcement, big goals for ongoing, and stretch goals for something to take a swing at. Big part for me is to keep them in the right direction. Good game!

I’m new to stacking.. I’m a newbie ….started only near the end of 2022 ~ I find your videos very helpful and interesting. I’m planning to buy gold only (no silver) as a small percentage of my total portfolio… currently gold sits at 1% of my portfolio but I’m thinking of slowly bring that up to 2%… maybe I will bring the % up as I gradually get more familiar with this asset class.. but I’m still learning😂 I love the look of 999.9 gold ~ it’s stunning ❤… looking at my gold bars make my heart sing 🎉

I suppose I should be scientific with my PM stacking but I just look at as a savings plan/pension pot with no small print involved. Though I did the how much do I need a month to live on exercise when either I retire or work retires me a couple of weeks ago and it looks a bit tighter than a year ago with all the inflation about. Its either the wife works till she is 70, we eat twice a day or I give up the beer and wine. I don't think the good lady will be to pleased when I tell her she has another 17 years of hard graft ahead....Cheers 🍺🍾🍔

Are we in a similar position to the late 70s and early 80s with high inflation and high gold price? The gold price peaked, then fell and didn't recover for decades....

I stopped by my largest LCS a month or so ago and there was no Pt in the store anywhere. They had a LOT of gold and silver, though, so that's what I want to stack.
If I ever need to sell some metal, I want to be sure that it is easy to sell because that will help close the deal quickly. I also asked myself "What can Pt do for me that
Au cannot?" but I could not come up with an answer to that question, so continue to buy gold. Just a thought or two.

My mortgage is 2300 a month. That said my 8 ounces of gold isn't going to last long. At 50 ounces I would feel a lot better but that takes time, time I don't have but I keep on stacking 😊😊😊

Hyperinflation hits a million dollars will be a years wages. Price of bread at a days wages means an average grocery trip would equate to three months wages. Something to think about when you realize how quickly all wages and savings can be eaten up. Everyone becomes equally poor except the ultra rich, think master slave!

Everytime I hear how much money the average American needs and or Pays for Bill wise every month blows my mind
I don't have to come anywhere near $2,000 a month.
I have a family of 3 and I pay all the bills
I suppose owning instead of renting helps and the fact that we don't eat the fast-food use convenience stores or waste our money on stuff like that.
Makes me wonder how many Americans could be saving more money if they did likewise.

I’ve pretty much went all in I’ve got 20 ounces of gold and I’ve got 555 ounces of silver. That way I have that Barbara velvety and a little bit of the yellow shiny metal. I’m hoping this will get me by when I need it to but I wonder what that put me on the scale it because I have all that silver
I’d suggest capping your silver stack at what you have now, and focusing exclusively on gold from here on out. Gold should be the base and focus, and silver is its junior second-fiddle partner and speculative play.
