Definately use wire I'm not willing to lose even on lure and you will catch more fish especially since the water is so dirty in nt. I use around 1 Meter of wire Spanish are crazy.

I mostly use a 30lb setup but if the gt were big you'd be wanting more especially if they are on alot of reef.
