I just realized that this is the "perfect" instrument, as assuming constant temperature and pressure it will never go out of tune! (Oh, absolutley fantstic performance as well! haha)
The water in the glasses would eventually evaporate even at constant room temperature. But I agree, it's a really underappreciated instrument

Is that Voldemort playing the Glass Harp? Sorry. Just kidding. I LOVE THESE FOLKS! As limited an appeal that the glass harp has (Mozart, Handel, Beethoven and Strauss composed for it, and Benjamin Franklin improved on the instrument's design) the sound and tone that flows from it is so ethereal and other-worldly. And these two musicians have taken this art to a whole new level. Bravo!

The books were cool and all, but it was the movies that transformed it all, and the MUSICAL SCORE!!! That absolutely made the films, particularly the theme song- this instrument highlighted how otherworldly the films became because of their music alone❤❤👏🏾👏🏾

to start this story, I wanted to ley ya'll know I'm obsessed with harry potter.
so I go to choir in my school so my choir teacher was showing us videos of musical glasses, then all of a sudden my teacher put this video then I literally screamed out of nowhere in the completely silent room and I also jumped up and down from my seat while everybody was staring at me and yelling, "EMMA!!" and got in trouble but it was SOO worth it.
