- Join me on a festive thrift shopping trip where I set out to deck the halls for the holidays! I thrifted American Cancer Society Discovery Shop to find all the magical holiday pieces on my wish list. After we thrift, join me as I style up our home for the holidays on a festive home tour.

Thrifting at charity shops like Discovery Shops is personally important to me because they support and advocate for people living with cancer. These shops rely on dedicated volunteers, and I find comfort in knowing that my shopping habit directly contributes to supporting those who truly need it.

This is so so fun! My mom and grandma were big time thrifters..my mom even thrifted wedding and baby shower gifts which embarrassed me to no end as a teenager.. now I do the same! I agree w the commenter re: ribbons , cards, I always score the best ephemera thrifting.. your house looks wonderful!!! I think my personal favorite is how you hung the stars above your table.. I used to have some stars like that.. I wish I had kept them! That is such a clever idea! What a statement! And the arrangement of candlesticks w the bows . Well.. I'm a total bow girl.. I have a tree in my daughter's bedroom full of various hued silk bows .. it's a tinsel champagne colored tree.. it's stunning!! The little paper plates you hung on the walls w the ribbons.. it's so sweet! I actually thought they were tins before you said they were paper. So unique! Thanks for the tour! So fun!! The nostalgia around vintage Christmas decorations is always so comforting to me. My fave is finding ornaments still with their boxes with a price tag of a store that reminds me of childhood (K-Mart, Ames, Roses). I'm a new subscriber, so forgive me if this has been asked before, but is that light fixture vintage as well. Stunning!
Love this holiday video!! I only buy Xmas ribbons, cards and paper from thrift stores. They are way better and so much more affordable. Also love your “thrifting karma”. Always good to spread the wealth for others to enjoy!

I. Love. Your. Dress. And your house looks like the perfect place for a holiday party. Don’t be surprised if your guests ooooh & aaaah over your decor, individually & collectively! If you want to be able to reuse the ribbons on the candles, you could tie them around the candleholders & then wax won’t drip on them. Happy Holidays!

I love how you incorporated the thrifted finds into your holiday decor. I have a stained glass Christmas tree lamp similar to yours and it is one of my favorite Christmas pieces.
Unfortunately, the candlesticks with the Christmas tree are not Spode. You can always tell the difference because Spode always has a Santa at the top of the Christmas tree and not an angel. They are festive and pretty nonetheless.
