Why would the government back it?
McGregor is in the big club as are most in lawfare and 90% of all our pols. It's all BS the news and filler
Coz they are corrupt and Conor is getting to big for his boots, he might go into politics and they don't want that.....he is a threat to their little corrupt agenda thay have going on.
@@jeanmarie3258Seamus is on the boosters, pay no attention to him.
@@jeanmarie3258 I thought the same once McGregor's started to be highly critical of the Irish government, it was inevitable his past would catch up with him but it depends on the time line.
So who pays James Lawrence's fee. Does that mean Ms Hand could have to pay his fees since he was found not guilty?
Yep 😂
I looked into this.
I dont think he had to pay anything because he won but I'm sure he will catch her for some costs or damages ya know😅.
In the UK, if you enter into a no win no fee agreement and lose.. you don't pay the defendants costs. Something tells me that the defendants costs are covered by insurance, but I'm not entirely sure if that's accurate..
Gotta Hand it to her...
But why take a case that even the DPP didn't think would be successful? Interesting to ponder on the possible reasons why...
As has been pointed out, ad nauseum, the burden of proof in civil cases is different. In civil cases, it's on the balance of probabilities, i.e., the claimant must show that the facts they allege are more likely than not true. In criminal cases brought by the DPP, the burden is to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
@kevinnolan1339 Has it been pointed out "and nauseum"? Not to me it hasn't. If so, I wouldn't have asked the question.
By the way, well done for spelling difficult Latin words. Buy yourself and ice-cream, sui contentus 😅
Most people are denied the high court because of money, that's not justice, it should be available to all ,to have your own solicitor covered by the government.
So basically the solicitors and barristers took the gamble if they win they get a paid day and a good one at that.
"other factors" probably.
God Bless you, my experience of the law has been negative to say the least. By the sounds of it, Nikita, although she won and was awarded E250k owes a huge amount of money to her legal team. Loose loose scenario.
It’s really about going after people like Conor who they know is wealthy.
She didn't go after him way back when supposedly happened, why. If she felt so bacd and thought she was going to die, wouldn't she have ran to the cops asap? Most would when they know who it was.
Connor Epstein and Dee Maxwell.
that's not fair on DEE she's innocent only guilty in loving McTAPPER
I see you are trying to water down the evil of Epstein by equating this case. Very telling of your mindset.
So she has to pay lawrences fees now yeah, she took a rape case against him and lost it.
Its good timing with conor wanting to be president. If i were a conspiracy theorist, I'd be thinking it was a government funded job..
Then maybe he shouldn't be going to hotels with random women with a partner and kids at home
Common Sense says he used the Presidency story as a distraction when he found out the case was going public. Everyone knows he can't get the 26 nominations anyway. It was a distraction.
Running for president is just the alt state media giving him a stage.
@@CorkerinDublin Nikita Hand went to the hotel with a well known sportsman while her boyfriend was at home babysitting her child.
Are you blind, or just bigoted.
@@killbotone6210about time someone said it. But these brainless numpties who follow McGregor refuse to believe it
You don't do 'no win no fee' even in strong cases.
Why not? 🤔
Who pays the other lads fees if he was found not guilty ?
And now that it was found she accused Laurence in the wrong, she accused an innocent man - will she have to pay his Fee’s?
Does she owe James Lawrence money?
Thanks gerry, but she won the case so how is she going to pay all the fees to the solictors out of the smaal win she got, and if connor mcgregor appeals the case will nikita have to go true all that court again 😊
Court will decide this week on who will pay costs, it's a cert that McGregor will be liable for her legal fees at least
How much do they get our of her winnings 30% hardly worth their while then if legal bills are one millione they only get 60k.
Will her win mean her legal fees are paid by the defendant if that’s what he is .
There is a costs hearing tomorrow (Thursday)
@@terrygorrythanks for answering.
or a wink and a nod from the powers that be
Tell the truth Terry.. you had a can with them.. that's why you went off cam! Good lad, I can tell you're a man's man 😊
Anyway, I read on Google yesterday that Conor McGregor has apparently just accepted a fight with Jake Paul worth a reported $50 million, so it seems it's business as usual for Conor then. This suggests to me that civil court action and it's outcomes don't carry anywhere near the same weight as criminal court action and it's outcomes. The mainstream media has shown pretty much no interest in McGregor's civil case..
He will no doubt win thw next fight he'll be so angry over case with Nikkita he'll take it out on next boxer.
James lawrance was found not guilty. Can he seek damages against N Hand.
Yes. Defamation.
But more importantly,who shot j.r.?
It was big Mike (Obama.)

How do you know they don't worki?
You're making an assumption.
How is this a win if she wanted €1.7m and walked away with €250k,
Where does he say she wanted 1.7mil?
@ he doesn’t say it but that’s what they asked for in court ! You would know this if you read up on it properly.
@ she wanted €700k to relocate her house and €1m for loss of earnings
@@craigcullen6287 ah ok I had read about the relocation want alright.
I think it's a win because more than likely she turned down an offer to settle out of court which could have been higher. Terry did another video on this. It's highly probable that Mcgregor offered an earlier settlement to keep it out of court because even if he thought he could win the case, he still had to get on the stand and admit to drug abuse and having "vigerous" sex with partner and kids at home.
So the win is having Mcgregor called out as a rapist in court.....it's about her getting justice
@ id beg to differ on that one. I genuinely hate McGregor can’t stand him years. But this whole thing and the evidence around it seems off. If she really wanted justice she should have came out and demanded the DPP re open the case and said the money isn’t what she was after she never uttered anything of the sort. Strange situation altogether anyways a civil case after there was no criminal case is also mad
Nonsense
Nikita is a liar
Prove it in court lad. A jury of our fellow citizens believed her
They are all liers
@@CorkerinDublin They didn't believe her lies against Lawrence, don't forget.
@@rightiswrongrightiswrong806 that one is really unclear as he claimed they had sex but there was no DNA evidence of him having sex with her while they did find DNA evidence from Mcgregor so Lawrence was also not believed/ did lie
@@CorkerinDublin if you look at all the evidence presented in the court it is quite clear that the jury went against the Notorious due to who he is. Also, possible female bias on the jury.
No-win-no-fee lawyers are basically just ambulance chasers. Instead lawyers' fees should be reduced and restricted by law.
I hope James Laurence is compensated for the traumatic experience he was put through
I hope he's charged for lying to the Judge and Jury while under oath.
@ are you not innocent until proven guilty anymore. That’s interesting
@killbotone6210 who was lying ?
@@liamharding5704 i don’t know who was lying or telling the truth. I do know James Laurence was found not liable by the jury. I hope he gets well compensated for what he was put through. I reckon at least 250k plus his expenses. It’s not about money after all. Should have no dramas covering his costs
Compensated by who? Conor McGregor, has admitted he is already paying James Lawrence’s legal fees, why is that ?
No win no fee
It was a one nighter n she’s after money
