I do not have videos but all I can say is for the price you will never get a better smoker. They are great. I wanted a Lang Smoker but could not afford the price. I got to looking at HBT smokers and talked to the owners and got a great deal with them and they brought it to me.
@@kevin86674 I'm in Illinois been looking at them for about 6 months been hearing nothing but good things just a lot of videos of the others but not the weekender
No, my firebox grate does not come out. I thought I might want it to, at one point, for easy clean out, which is what I am assuming you are thinking too? But, I would really hate for that to slide out on me while I was standing there poking hot embers around, so I decided against it. I had my grate lowered just a bit, but not so low to where I couldn't get my hand under it. Biggest tip for the firebox clean up, that I could give, is to just lay a sheet of foil under the grate. You get about 98% of all the ash just by sliding the foil out when you are done.
Is there any way your buddy the welder can build me a set of these sausage slid out racks like he did for tours? I would really like to purchase one for my smoker as well. Thanks
where did you purchase it? any issues with colder weather smoking? Im up in Canada so i doubt the cold weather you get is the same as what we have lol. also can i ask what you paid in total with mods? or did your buddy add mods for you?
I paid half the price of a Lang and got much, much more than just a reverse flow smoker. Lang is a great smoker, no doubt. But, I took a vacation in Jamacia with the money I saved going the route I did.
I bought the weekender and I love it. Only place the smoke comes out is the smoke stack. It is the best smoker I have ever had.
Any video of u cooking on it thinking about getting 1

Thanks for the followup video. Going to call and order mine today...Merry Xmas to me.
Thanks for posting. I gotta do one for mine.
Does the smoker travel well? Do you have any issues towing it?
Great looking smoker trailer...I've seen these pits all over the place...how's temp hold while cooking. Your food looked good
Wow! It's very light and I mean that in a good way. I couldn't pick mine up if I tried! If you still got it post some cooking videos!
Weighs 1700 lbs
Hey does the grate in the firebox comes out? Can you put up another video of you using the front box? And how easy is it to clean out?

Harold, I will ask him and let you know. I already had the hooks from a Pit Barrel Cooker, I have. I think you can order hooks off of Amazon, too.
