I like the Missha as well, but, in my view, one of the best for my seventy year old skin is the Bare Minerals Bare Essentials Skin Rescue bb cream. It melts into the skin, evens out the complexion and nourishes. It’s great. It lasts a long time too
I really like Mac face and body for a sheer finish that looks very natural. (43 year old combination sensitive skin) Its a cult classic for a reason and well worth testing out!
Hi. I just turned 54 a few days ago so have not had your experience. To answer your question a lot more information is needed, really. What is your skin type? Is it dry and needs a lot of moisture, is it oily and need a bit of touch up during the day, or combination with a bit of oil on forehead, nose, and China? Then, what is it you want from your foundation? Cover everything, light enough to just to add a bit or colour, or somewhere in between? Are there certain specific parts you want to really cover? What are you willing to pay? I’m no expert but I’ve been doing a lot of research and trying things out. I know that’s a lot. 5ink about all that and ask me anything you like & I’ll try to help 🙂
Do you think this would work for mature oily skin? AND as I have been watching some of your old videos have wondered if your mum has found a good primer yet? The only one that has worked for me was the Nivea daily hydration! About £5

What I love about your foundation reviews are the extreme close-ups. I’m so fussy about my foundation and scrutinise it on a 10x magnified mirror 😂 and I’m never completely happy (currently searching for a new foundation). Your reviews are really helping me to make an informed decision. The difficult bit is getting the right shade when buying online and lockdown has prevented in-store shade matching and takeaway samples.

I bought trinny bff and I’m not getting on very well with it, it oxidises and when you try and build it it seems to go patchy Have tried with and without primer and illuminating and Matt moisturiser I have to say I was disappointed with it

See it's really odd that this is supposed to be light to medium but no matter how much you build it won't ever be medium, whenever I tried this week's ago maybe a month or two (I got it brand new on launch day) I found it very medium to full coverage

Thank you for including that aspect of coconut in the product because yes for some of us it has a negative effect. A few years ago I tried pure coconut oil on my thighs because I live in a very cold climate in the winter. Here I'm all like 'its all pure and coconut is a beneficial ingredient.'. Then....my thighs broke out lol. Sometimes your body just says 'that'll be a no!'
As a quick "out of the door" foundation, I think it's really good, and the price is amazing! I think using a damp sponge is definitely the way to go. The moisture from the sponge will supply the hyaluronic acid. Got to say, your freckles are so cute 😍! 💖🌸💖🌸💖

I don’t know about Gemma, but I like the way Allie Glines does it; apply it with the brush, then go over it with a damp sponge. It takes off any excess and smooths it
Hey pack! Question... I’ve bought the Holy Hydration moisturizer to try & using for the last few days. It kinda pills on me... idk. Crazy, I I don’t know why it’s doing that. I checked reviews on website & found one other that said the same. Anyone in the pack ever used & had this issue? I have tried one other before that did this and was when I used the No. 7 lift & illuminate serum & then no 7 lift & illuminate moisturizer that came together as a gift pack. It pilled as well when I used them together. It said use them together. Lol. Idk. Just asking out there. Any ideas.

This foundation really did look like velvet on your skin. I'm wondering how it would do with a primer and a bit of powder. Also, for the price, it would make a great product to mix into other foundations to lighten/darken them. I usually buy a darker shade to mix into my regular foundation to get my summer shade!

You can also be allergic to coconut (like my sister) which can cause issues. She's also allergic to lanolin which can be in a lot of beauty products.
