With his "anyone who can't hit my tosses just sucks" mentality, Atsumu is similar to middle school Kageyama on the surface. But the biggest difference between the two is that while middle school Kageyama just recklessly threw unreasonable tosses and demanded his spikes to keep up with them, Atsumu does everything he possibly can to give the best possible tosses to his spikers (as evidenced by the last play). That's why he has "earned the right" to criticize his spikes when they don't score.
Kageyama threw the tosses wherever he thought were the best opportunity to beat the other team's blocks to score, Atsumu threw the tosses where he thought were the best possible places for his teammates to spike.
@@AlquimistEd Yeah, Atsumu is like Oikawa. Only difference is that Oikawa brings the best out of his spikers while Atsumu forces it out of his spikers.
14:30 I honestly love this scene of coach Ukai clapping for Atsumu’s. Even if it’s the opposing team, it doesn’t hurt to acknowledge and praise a player when they make such a skillful play, to just appreciate the *raw skill and athleticism* that was put into pulling off such a gorgeous set. Great sportsmanship from Ukai, I’m so glad the mangaka included this little scene in the series :))
The chapter that this episode adapts is special. It doesn't start with the chapter name at the beginning. It's shown instead at the very end. The name is question. "The Guardian Deity's Hero". Because in that moment Kinoshita was the most important person to him for helping him when he stumbled. Kinoshita got his Hero moment after all.
I'm sure a lot already praises Noya's achievements many times, but here I want to praise Kinnoshita for trying his best and not running away when being called to pinch serve! It was heartbreaking to see he didn't get his spotlight, but he did so well! Also lmao, I have a love-hate relationship with Atsumu. He has such a jerk persona, but there is just something about him that can't make me really hate him. Probably because he is so earnest about volleyball that I admire that side of him.
1:00 What Atsumu meant isn't that Kageyama is a better blocker than Tsukki, but that he's scarier because Kageyama goes for the kill block while Tsukki consistently goes for one touches. Tsukki is the ideal blocker because he gives your team a chance to counter attack with his one touches.
One of my favorite ugly crying moments from this series... Kinnoshita having his hero moment. It just shows that you don't have to be a main player on the court to be super important to your team.
2:01What Tsukishima is doing here we call it "funneling",he narrowed the course makes the hitter can only attack in a certain direction, and there are already defenders in that direction. The interaction between Kinoshita and Nishinoya may be a bit confusing, it is recommended to read the manga😆If you have trouble telling twins apart, look at their clothes, that's their future hair color😂The biggest blessing that Atsumu has is Osamu, Atsumu is the biggest disaster that Osamu has 😂😂And I think you probably skipped over here. 13:26 Osamu said something very meaningful,"I'm frustrated at the fact that I'm not more frustrated"
Another fun watch🎵 I can SO relate to not being able to perform well when it actually matters & miss "the chance to be a hero" just like Kinoshita in this ep. Makes me tear up every time. I also always crack up at Suna taking out his phone & taking photos of the twins' fight.😄 Just leaving my support & none of my usual comments about the subs, since there weren't any really wonky ones this ep (at least in the parts shown in this vid).
Little ot. If you already watched DBZ, i would recommend to do a DBZ Abridged reaction, you will absolutely love it and surely it will bring in more viewers! And honestly i would be hyped to see you react to DBZA🙏

09:04 You can tell by their shirts, they match the hair color they will adopt latter.
As always best sports anime
Watching the twins bickering again, made me realise that Kageyama and Hinata are actually more like brothers than friends.

The following episodes will be on fire!!!!! 😌🔥
I wawtched this so many times and it brings tears to my eyes, every single time.
レッツゴー
14:50 At this point, there is no doubt that Atsumu is a better setter than Kageyama. In fact, right now, it's #1 Atsumu, #2 Oikawa, and #3 Kageyama.
影山に日向がいたように侑には治がいるの良いよね
The moment atsumu så his teacher set, he became a monster like hinate and kageyama
NEXT EPISODE IS NNNNNNEAR
