The last step is a simple brown wood glaze, am i right? I have some venetian masks at home and they all seem like being covered with a thick brown layer. Also i watched a maskmaker in venice polishing his masks with a piece of cloth. I normally paint tin soldiers and there is a painting technique similar to this, you paint the soldiers just in basic colors, dip them into wood glaze and after drying it looks pretty real. So is this theory correct?
Love the final product. Bravo!
I will love to learn how to paint like that 🥰🥰❤️
