Don't forget to take some time for yourself. All the stress of helping others and doing for others will take a toll on ya. If you need a week off we'll still be here. My favorite part about Vise Grip Garage was watching the scenery on his ride home & the possibility of issues along the way. You could vacation to the beach somewhere and just film the scenery along the way & I'm sure folks would still watch it. I know it's your bread & butter but you worry about your fans too much. We're here for ya no matter what you post!!! I'm 53 & on disability from a broken neck so I can't afford to buy merch but I'll dang sure watch every minuet of what you post and smash that like every time.
A whole episode of Puddin and Slick...can't get much better. A lot of improvements going on, make sure you have a good CPA to take care of those deductions.
Puddin, thank you! I quit drinking in May of 1979. I haven't touched a drop since. My wife of 43 years passed away mid September. The first week in October I had to have my gall bladder removed. A week or so after I was sitting at the table with a .38 in one hand and a bottle of Jack Daniels in the other. It was a rare moment that I wasn't blowing up the toilet. I hurt so bad I was wondering why I let them do this to me. Depressed and in pain I was considering ending it all so I could be out of pain and with my wife. Then my phone pinged. It was a notification from your second channel. You were the ultimate distraction. I had my son come get the gun and gave my neighbor the bottle. Don't listen to the haters. You do so much good for everyone else including saving lives. I laughed. Thank you for being you. Never stop unless you are ready to. God bless you son and your family too for putting up with you. Cheers Terry P. S. I still have those Datsun parts over here that have your name on them😊
Really good seeing you and Slick doing another video together always good to have a right hand man partner in crime good friend lost my partner in crime years back due to cancer I haven't turned the ranch in wait a few years now due to my back and knee problem forget them fixing so I can start working on my own stuff again but I won't stop watching you guys❤😊
Excellent video Puddin :) , Slick 50 :) also nice got unforzen pipes at old home plus new place to , fix oldest daughter car up on new coils , spark plugs also codes clean out to and wagon Bel / Air windows fix up also got home too Lol ! Plus new shop update too and very nice too!
I live in a 1950 spartan mansion with my wife we used 4 zero steel wool on the windows and it made them beautiful. Love your videos. Keep up the great work. God bless you and your family.
The new addition looks great Puddin. I can't wait till everything is done 100% so you don't have any of the added worries and you can just concentrate on family life and business stuff. At least the end is in sight.
To see if the coil is bad just switch the coil with the one next to it if the miss fire moves then you know the coil is bad if it stays on number 3 then there is a different. Issue maybe coil wire coil plug or even the injector
I have suggested a few times to get a heavy tarp like used on a semi trailer to separate the garage to save on heating & cooling plus you could stick the future project in one the bays & it be hidden while your making videos !
When spring comes, you could put in a big garden, Then you could have a third segment called Puddin's Fab Garden. Or fence it in and have a couple of bison!?!!
The Station Wagon, the new building, Slick and the luv truck, and you are looking good. I always enjoy watching both channels each and every week. You and Morskie are my weekly entertainment. THANK YOU for the hard work you do for us, your fans.👍
Digging the little look at everything... Most people dont think about all the little things that come into play when you're doing big projects, like building houses, shops and cars... Happy for you and your family!!
Man everything looks great. From the shop to the wagon with new glass. Keep up the great work man. I enjoy sitting down every time you upload to see what new project you were working on that day. Your family has got to be so proud of the dad, husband, and friend you are.
When you say good merchandise you should say great because my og shop short is top quality and at a great price a lot of other sites charge top dollar for ok quality thanks again puddin keep up the awesome work
Hi puddin. Long time watcher. I normally just hit the like button and never comment. But oh yeah I'm subscribe to both channel's. I just wanted to say thank you for the videos. I always enjoy watching them. Your such a great person. And hard working family guy. Again thank you for all you have shared with your fans.
Took a class from The Fabrication Series, and best thing I learned was to rest your hand on the table. Get that pinky finger down and there will be no shake.
Wagon looks nice I would still have to paint it I like things shiny lol , as for the old house just get a property manager to worry about all the head aches ,looks like a nice little place if I were moving that way Id check it out . I see ya got Mrs Puddin a new ride very nice .
It’s stressful building or remodeling a place, so I can completely understand what you’re saying. Can’t wait to see the wagon finished up, keep up the good work.
I know you'll have a bathroom downstairs from the guest room, but I highly recommend at least putting a toilet and sink upstairs in the utility room. Hide the water heater and furnace on one side and put a 2 or 3 piece bathroom with it
You and Slick would do great together in that big heated shop for videos make it work Puddin both of you would double your income and viewers duh! Love yall !
With regards to the internet in your shop, don't get a wifi booster, look into getting a Mesh Router. They are routers that usually come in packs of 3 or more that you place in different parts of your home/shop that connected to each other, either wirelessly or wired together with ethernet cables, so it acts as a singular wifi router, no need to switch from 'p-tangs wifi' to 'p-tangs wifi booster' if you were to go the booster route. Great video, happy to see the progress. Hope you're healing up well so we can get back to your regularly scheduled builds 💥👊
Exactly what I was going to post. With the boosters, you need to switch the device's SSID within each booster zone or coverage area. There are a lot of Mesh router products around to choose from. A strong wifi router could theoretically cover the entire area, but with the metal walls, that gets iffy.
Oh frozen pipes are fun but nothing like a froze up sewer line to make things fun. Chicago polar vortex in 19 boss told us we weren't working the next 2 days because we were looking at near minus 30 actual air temperature. Figure get up,grab a shower and maybe run some laundry during my unplanned 2 days off. Middle of the shower start hearing gurgling and notice the drain ain't draining. End up having bundle up to run to a nearby gas station for washroom needs and eventually rig a 5 gallon bucket as a camp facility for the next 2 days and crash with family on the third til things thawed enough to work again. Only saving grace of that situation was being a widower and my wife didn't have to go through the subzero roughing it.
We just love us some Puddin and Slick shenanigans! Just a quick FYI...when you looked underneath the old house , that cement block under the beam should be 90 degrees rotated...they are much stronger with the "webs" vertical and not horizontal. Daughter of a mason (not the flaky society) here...talking from experience.
Use your old glass as a template and get a new one cut from laminated safety glass / double pane with plastic in the center, the guy who cuts the glass can polish the edges.. It will be cheaper than a new factory glass.
I would advise pulling your plugs back out and applying copper anti-sieze on your threads. The threads on the plugs are steel, and the head is aluminum anti-sieze will prevent the rust and corrosion, making it easier if you have to ever change them again
That curtin is a great idea, puddin. Insulated garage doors would also help even if you did the front main shop doors or buy the pink foam from Home Depot and fill the doors you have in with that.
For your net, look for someone that can setup Ubiquiti Airfiber. Have the sender at your house and the receiver at the shop. 1.2Gbps connection and you don't have to worry about running fiber to the shop area. We use it at a couple of our sites.
One time I dropped the oil cap on my Kia Optima down onto the splash shield. It somehow wedged itself between the oil pan and shield. I had to drop the shield to get it back. Needless to say, lots of cursing ensued.😅 Get some insulated garage doors for the new shop if you want the HVAC system to be more efficient.
You do know most realtors can rent your old place for you. they deal with the nonsense an you get a check once or twice a year just a thought .keep it up man glad your doing good for you an your family
Them gas explosions give me scares! My wife woke me up to what sounded like a jet flying over our house, then she went out side and said there’s a weird light coming from over the hill. I went outside and the whole sky was lit up. I knew exactly that there was a major fire. This was like 25-30 miles away and the sound, I’ll never forget. Scared me for who was near it. Scared me so bad it brought tears to my eyes. The fire was a couple towns over. My brother works train at night and caught the explosion and mushroom cloud. Only one person lost their life, if really shocked that more didn’t buy it was way out in the middle of now where.
Found both Fab Shop channels, subscribed and been watching all your episodes this week. Your a real representation of working on old Iron. These behind the scenes are really relatable.
Hey Puddin, Information Technology guy here. Hard wire all the outlets in your office for CAT6 just have them run back to a central router that you can even keep in your utility room. Also run a cat6 line through all of your shop spaces then you can place access points to your shop WiFi throughout in a mesh to really lock it in. That is probably overkill for your needs, but then all you will have to do is swap out the routers and access points when they fail. Yes they will fail. 5 years is a pretty good life span for a wireless router unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money.
As long as an EV doesnt have to charge when its like -20F they don't really care. They'll lose some range but so will a ICE warming up and running the AC with the defroster. Tit for tat an old ICE might knock till the oil starts flowing, an EV doesn't want to charge. Let the ICE idle up and let the EV condition its batteries they're both fine. A more funny EV issue is without the engine dumping heat on the hood, the hood of an EV will stay frozen and blow snow all over the windshield. Same with LED headlights, no heat and they cover up in snow.
There's a video on TH-cam I've used to get out heavy glass scratches. Its a 50/50 mix or 70/30 mix. It's gojo hand cleaner and car polish. I would definitely search for it.
Be careful of the hot water pipes because hot water will freeze 🥶 quicker than cold water. Here in Kansas when it is below freezing I only let the cold water drip 💧 to keep everything flowing.
I always try 000 steel wool and dish soap first, then move to something more aggressive, you can actually just use a scratch renovator type polish that's used for light scratches and squirl marks, then buff the glass after with polish! 😊 8:33
So Proud of you young man!! You have worked very hard to make a better life for you and your family. The shop and house look great. Love watching your videos. May this New Year bring you and the family many Blessings. Hello to Slick Fitty.
I personally liked the junkyard video where you helped your TH-camr buddy get his vehicle out of the yard. It opened my eyes up to what you might need to do if you were going to buy a project car from a junkyard.
Your 61 looks great with new windows, seals, carpets and headliner. Loving your new addition and your layout for it. You are doing awesome and looking for your new builds.
Can't agree more about not wanting to be a landlord and don't want nothing that requires a code reader! Looking forward to the future builds, and thank you for the excellent and consistent content. I for one love the junk yard tours!
Very happy for you folks. I know the feeling of a small shop. It’s what I use right now until we grow more. 12ft x 12ft. But it’s a roof over my head. Keep them coming our family is happy for your family.
The best time I had working on my wife's chevy was when the engine finally seized and I realized I never had to work on that mechanical horror show again. I swear new cars are designed to fail nowadays.
Most underrated channel on TH-cam but I think puddin is gonna have to do hotrod power tour or sick week before this channel blows up good luck

You should look into doing a drop trailer build, it would be a game changer for lowered vehicles and junk yard finds.
Literally the last thing I watched was a drop deck utility trailer rebuild... scaled up to car size would be awesome for lowered cars and recoveries.
I have seen some that are bagged and slam down for loading slammed vehicles. Pretty cool looking trailers.

a good trick I used when I started TIG welding was to rest my hand on a hotwheels car so it would roll and keep my weld consistent.

Lovetap WAS looking real fine in that snowy cold 🥶 backdrop. AND she made it to work. Wonder if all the EV folk can say the same. Ol' reliable. 👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻
