Hi Cynthia these were made to suit Sue's hands and use once the first one made it became the template. The area where thread is wound was made larger again to suit personal use.
Katie sorry no notification of your question. I drilled the hole for Sue using my Dremel and fine drill bit. The other way is to use a hot nail or stiff wire use pliers to hold the wire while you heat it on the stove hot plate or gas and burn the hole though. You need to be aware of how hot the wire is or it can ignite the dowel, cause smoke alarms to go off.
Lisa apologies no notifications came for your post. The length was personally set for Sue's use. The squares on the cutting board are 25mm looking at the video shows 50mm+ length. From there everything was as Sue wished them for her use.

If I don’t have a drill, how else do you suggest I add spangles? Thanks!
