@IgorFoukzon, I think that is what is fascinating about the Hebrew Language and the Torah. As a Christian who has Jewish roots, one cannot grasp the deeper things without the spirit. I believe that IS what Yeshua was saying. That without this spirit upon the expression, one cannot gain the deeper meaning of the word. And it's telling that in the scope of this explanation, it reveals the Father does two things with the branches. He either pulls it off the main shoot so as not to receive anymore nourishment OR he prunes (I would assume that to mean discipline and counsel) so that those who are still spiritually (spiritual Israelite) or physical (genetically Israelite) may bear MORE fruit...(that could mean offspring or increase the community of other co-worshipers). In any event, we always depend on the wisdom and divine spirit to reveal a deeper understanding.

    • @IgorFoukzon
      @IgorFoukzon 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@mattreya Do you also think that ignoring the Jewish roots of the New Testament (which Paul clearly emphasizes in his epistles; and I wonder how the mainstream Christian theology dares to disregard it throughout centuries!) ends in the decreasing of nourishment from the Spirit?

    • @mattreya
      @mattreya 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@IgorFoukzon I'm trying to follow your question. What jewish roots are you referring to? And second, the Spirit is controlled none other than Jesus and his Father. So in theory, some can actually contain MORE of this spirit (or oil) in their own lamp. While other Christians, Jews and Moslems can profess to follow the true God...but really not understand the deeper meaning. So in Jesus' parable, the 5 foolish versions (those who profess to be devout by name) go to the 'marketplace'. That is the old way of gaining insight and then just 'buying' the best explanation. But the truth is, this holy spirit is already given to the 5 discreet bridesmaids. It's already given them to understand the deeper things (which is knowing the mind of G*d [haShem].

    • @mattreya
      @mattreya 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

But I think what your saying is that some modern Christians have ignored the rich spiritual wisdom in learning the Torah. To selectively ignore some aspects of the Torah and only focus on what appeals to the congregation; is to miss out on the beauty and grandeur of His Holy Person who has been with us since the beginning of the founding of the world. I do see Jewish people appreciating and acknowleding there has never been anyone like Jesus since. No Rabbi who has such a mastery as his wisdom. And Jesus admits, he receives this direction from his Father. Secondly, Christians such as myself...love the Torah and see that you need both to prepare the way to meet Him one day. Just like Abraham; I too look forward to a time to just sit and talk with my Creator face to face.

Loved your presentation! But the name 'Nazarene' actually has a much deeper meaning than what you've presented. I apologize upfront for the length, but there's a lot behind all of this.
Num 6:2 helps to explain why Yeshua was a Nazarite or Nazarene. It says that a person who makes a vow to God is known as a "Nazarite." The reason Yeshua came from Nazareth was because He was a vow TO God FOR us and a vow FROM God TO us - wrapped up (bound) in His New Covenant which was signed with the blood of the Lamb. Although He didn't abide by all of the requirements laid out in Numbers for a Nazarite (why should He since He came to change our perception and conception of things), He did have long hair at a time when we're told it wasn't normal. There were only 2 other instances in the Bible (that I know of) that tell us that a person kept long hair. Both were because of a vow to God: Samson in Judges 13:5 and Paul in Acts 18:18. Oddly, Paul later says in 1 Cor 11:14 that a man with long hair dishonors himself - surely he wasn't talking about those who make a vow to God(?). I mention this only to show how perceptions have changed by 50 A.D.
You might argue that the OT/NT spellings are different -- OT Hebrew is נזיר and NT (Aramaic) is נצרת. But I'd like to point out that if you look at most of these Greek words you'll see that almost all of them are different, yet the translation is the same. For instance, in Mt 2:23 Nazareth is Ναζαρέθ, in Mt 21:11 and Jn 1:46 it's Ναζαρετ. Nazarene is Ναζωραιος in Mt 2:23. While in Mk 1:24 it's Ναζαρηνε; in Mk 14:67 Ναζαρηνου; in Mk 16:6 Ναζαρηνον; and Lk 24:19 Ναζωραιου. However, they all say the same thing, either "a Nazarene" or "of Nazareth." My point is (ignoring word parts), that we should focus on the pronunciation of the root of the Aramaic/Greek word "Nazar" which is the same as the OT Hebrew for "Nazar-ite." You should also note that besides the definition "to make a vow to consecrate or separate oneself" given in Num 6, it can also describe a person from Nazar (similar to an Edomite - from Edom) or a follower/adherent of someone (like a Jacobite). It's also not unreasonable to say that the spelling of the word changed over time much like it's meaning. We have countless examples of this in English.
As for the purpose and significance of the city name? This is just my thoughts, but I think the city of Nazareth was founded by individuals who made a vow to God and needed to go somewhere to get away from the hustle of life and be around like-minded/acting people so they could complete their vow. Much like some monks have done or even the Essenes. By Yeshua's time, like other sacred things, the place and word had taken on a negative connotation. Not least of which was because it was in Galilee. We can see this by Nathaniel's comment in Jn 1:46 "Can anything good come from Ναζαρετ."
The story goes even deeper though. The reason He was born in Bethlehem wasn't just because it was the hometown of David. It was because He was the sacrificial Lamb of God. This was "God's vow to us" mentioned even earlier in scriptures. Just outside of Bethlehem was where the Levitical priest kept and raised the sacrificial sheep. Their job was to 'guard' the sheep and inspect each lamb for blemishes. Those that were found to be pure were wrapped (Tsar - to bind) in swaddling, put in the manger (Lk 2:7 and 2:12) and watched over (guard - Tsar). The priestly shepherds were told to go see Him because it was their job to look upon the ultimate sacrificial Lamb.
[This might seem a bit off track, but I've been anxious to share this with someone else and it fits the discussion. There's another beautiful message that comes from the Hebrew word for lamb. The word "Maker" has the same root: lamb = שה and Maker = עשה. Ps 95:6 "Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker." The pictograph of the Hebrew letter 'ayin' is the eye and it means: 'to see, to look upon, behold, etc.' So, Ps 95:6 is also saying "...kneel before Yahweh, LOOK UPON or BEHOLD our LAMB." The treasures that God has put in the layers of His Word are more beautiful than man could ever create. Testament to the Divine dictation of scriptures.]
If the word for Christian comes from the Aramaic/Hebrew word "Nazar" as you say (and I think you're right), it means that everyone who professes to be a Christian should be a "Nazarite." This doesn't necessarily mean that they should grow long hair and do the other things mentioned in Numbers. But, to be a "true" Christian, a person must make a vow to follow and obey Yeshua (Jn 14:15). They must "commit" to Him and His Word (Deu 8:3/Mt 4:4, Mt 4:16-17, Jn 1:1)! Not surprisingly, He's also told us in Deu 6:4-7 and Mt 22:37-38 which vow is the most important. When you do that one, the second most important vow (Mt 22:39) will fall naturally into place. If you abide by these you "fulfill" His Ten Commandments and you follow His Way of Righteousness.

Mt 23:39 -- It's time for everyone to say it!

Interesting bc the English word Christian is used 3x, in Acts 11:26, 26:28, and 1 Peter 4:16. The related English word, Christ, has a Hebrew equivalent of Messiah, both meaning “anointed one.” So, the logical conclusion is that “Christian” in Hebrew is Messianic. Christians make a similar error in reverse. The claim “church” is the English word for ekklesia, but it relates more to the root word circe (kirke) from whence we get the English word circus. Ekklesia actually translates to qahal in Hebrew, both meaning assembly, and literally in English meaning “called out ones.” Perhaps I’m missing a perspective here. Regardless, thanks for educating people about Hebrew, the awesome language of God! Its essence is so easily understood in its original pictograph form called proto-Hebrew.

Also, going any Hebrew word in English is transliteration so use of what the original Hebrew letter became over the centuries in English ought be perfectly acceptable.

“Yeshua” is the way most pronounce it around the world and in Israel. So I say it that way. However, a more literal pronunciation would be “Yahshua” most likely.
It happens in all languages. You probably do it to some degree like all of us. For example, in English we say NAY thin when pronouncing Nathan. But more specifically it should be pronounced naw TAWN (as is in the Hebrew language.

*The King James Bible **_was_** at one time a literary masterpiece without blemish. What I mean is there were no spelling, grammar or punctuation errors in it. I have a short film in my playlist on how that was acheived. Now, they're on every page! And there are MANY word switches too! Satan has **_supernaturally_** attacked it more than any other translation, but all of them in every language have been destroyed in the fulfillment of prophecy! Plus all concordances, encyclopedias, dictionaries, history books, the oldest manuscripts and the Dead Sea scrolls have been miraculously changed to match!*
*Not every word, Satan is too smart for that and he understands that rats won't eat pure poison so .05% is added to 99.95% corn. The rats love it because they can't taste the poison ... and perish for lack of knowlege! If you ever needed to obey God's commandment to ''prove all things'' and investigate something, this is it!!!*
*Our Father said to "prove all things" and you better obey Him on this thing especially. I have an exceptional memory, I remember my third birthday party and can draw an accurate picture of my baby stroller. I'm 71, was saved when I was 10 and **_had been_** reading only the **_exact same copy_** of the King James bible since 1961. (I am not a king James onlyist, but now I'm glad I never read any others or I might not have noticed the changes as soon.) I memorized many scriptures out of it over the years and I absolutely **_know_** that the word **_demons_** used to be all through it. But today that word is not anywhere in there! It was replaced with **_devils._** And the only place I've ever read the word **_wineskins_** was in my bible, but it's not in it any more either. It was replaced with **_bottles._** And now **_unicorns, easter, matrix, castles, damsels, stuff, corn, colleges, banks, employment, schools, missles, tires, mufflers, manifolds, engines, highways, suburbs, pavement, presidents, doctors, pilots, sheriffs, beer, dumb ass, India, Spain, Italy, ferryboats, couches_** and lots of other words are in my bible that I never saw in it my whole life! Many of these words are anachronisms (they didn't even exist in 1611!) It never talked about men with milk in their breasts or fathers nursing babies either, but now it does! Isaiah 11:6 used to say the **_lion_** shall lie down with the lamb, not the **_wolf_** shall also dwell with the lamb! Lion represents Jesus and wolf is associated with Satan! There are 15 films in my playlist with plenty of undeniable "residue" showing that ''wolf'' has replaced "Lion". (Residue is what they call all the things Satan missed as he was changing our world.) Luke 17:34 used to say "two shall be in one bed, one shall be taken and the other one left", but now it says "two **_men_** shall be in one bed...! And the following verse said "two women shall be grinding at the mill together..." and now it just says "two women shall be **_grinding together_** ...! So now the bible makes it sound like some homosexuals are going to be ''raptured"! BTW **_nobody's going to be "raptured" until after the tribulation. The Wrath of God follows._*
But *this is the BIGGIE,* in Luke 19:27 it has Jesus saying "And those mine enemies that would not that I should reign over them, bring hither and *SLAY THEM BEFORE ME!"* It did say _eshew_ them away! This change makes Christians sound like radical extremists!! *Millions of Christians will be killed because of this verse!!!* And I know that this is a parable, but the king Jesus was talking about was Himself, the King of Kings!
*I memorized the Lord's prayer as a boy because Jesus told us to say it, and I have said it tens of thousands of times, and it absolutely did not say **_which_** art in heaven, it said **_who_** art in heaven, it didn't say **_in earth,_** it was **_on earth._** And it now says forgive us our **_debts_** instead of our **_trespasses!!!_*
*God has sent His strong delusion to all of the people that never received the love of the truth! What's scary is, so far that appears to be almost all believers, and **_pastors!!!_** This incredible phenomenon they're calling the Mandela effect is absolutely real, but it should actually be called the Daniel 7:25 effect because that's where God said He would give the Antichrist power to do this, (''change times and laws''). I first became aware of some of the bible changes in 2014 before I ever had a computer or had heard of the Mandela effect. But since 2016 I've watched many hundreds of videos on the subject, and saved some of the best and most important ones for proving our bibles have been changed and pointing out all the places this was talked about in end time prophecies that we had previously misinterpreted in my playlist which you can see by 👉 typing into TH-cam (PROOF OF BIBLE CHANGE RESIDUE JUNKIE 1)* 👈
*By the time you have seen all these films which point out the many misinterpreted prophecies being fulfilled **_supernaturally,_** you will have grown MUCH closer to Jesus the never changing Word of God and your faith will be 1,000% stronger ... GUARANTEED!!!!!!!*
*Even though I will no longer read any bible, (unless Jesus changes them back), I continue to study what God's word said by seeing what scriptures have been changed with proof of what was originally written. I urge you all to do the same, while you still can, because when the lights go out, all we'll have then is hard copies of the bible Satan wants us reading! At that point Amos **8:12** will be fulfilled where it says we will no longer be able to find His words anywhere again.*
*This is without question the biggest and most important event since the day of Pentecost! When you see absolute proof that the miraculous fulfillment of end time prophecies is happening with your own eyes and how close we are to our Savior's return, it's the most faith strengthening and exciting thing that you've ever experienced!*
    *God bless you all!!!* ❤✝️💪🏻
*P.S. After people have taken all of the required 💉's, they will apply a quantum dot invisible tattoo to their head or hand, but anyone who has had just one has a bluetooth mac # that can be read by any smart phone and when you walk through the deal at an airport they know if you have it. The no buying or selling is happening incrementally and will be complete when cash is abolished and worship can be defined as "to fear, obey and trust in someone or something" which is what they are doing with the Beast System and the Image of the Beast, (NWO and TV!). They also now have triple helix DNA, are no longer human and if they have children they won't be human either! Yes, this absolutely is it, and👉 if you write me at the address on my about page👈 I'll send you 15 **_shocking_** films that will PROVE it to anyone who has the courage to watch them.*

This has the minor problem that Nazareth was first mentioned as a village in about 150AD and did not become a town until 50 years later. Moreover, Immanuel David was never called or known as Yesuah and his claim to be of the house of David was highly questionable on the Yussuf side and there was no recognized maternal descent.

    • @HebrewBibleStudy

Hello Friend. It is widely excepted that an argument from silence is a weak one. Because a small, seemingly insignificant village in the Galilee was not mentioned in early writings does not prove that it did not exist at the time. But in fact, extra Biblical writers did acknowledge Jesus as being a real person who lived in the 1st century A.D. (and there is no big debate that his home base was in the Kinneret region). Namely, these are Josephus and Tacitus, two non-Christian historians who are widely accepted by all. If it is generally acknowledge by secular historians that Jesus really did live at the time there is no big point in disproving what town he grew up in. The main thrusts of his public ministry were in Capernaum, Bethsaida, and Chorazin. All of these have been found are proven to have existed in 1st Century A.D. Palestine.

I found out about the Hebrew word for Christian from a Israelite woman that I met while studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan a while back. It was fascinating. It also appears to be related to the law and vow of the Nazarite in the Old Testament (Numbers 6:1-21) with verses like Lamentations 4:7, Amos 2:11-12.
My only caveat would be that the original language of the New Testament is Greek. But other than that the video was good.

According to Papias, a first century Christian historian, Matthew wrote his Gospel within a few years of the crucifixion in the dilectico hebreo, aka Hebrew language.
This was borne out when translators translated the Greek Gospel of Matthew into modern Hebrew, they found that unlike the other Greek Gospels, Matthew's Greek Gospel had a Hebrew word order and sentence structure, leading them to believe that Matthew's Greek Gospel was a word for word translation from an original Hebrew manuscript.

    • @broz1488

@@Arkansas-Boy I agree based on 1st century eyewitness testimony that Matthew's original Gospel was in Hebrew.
Peter's Gospel written down by Mark and accredited to Mark, was intended for a Greek speaking audience by Peter when he was appointment as the Apostle to the gentiles, and thus would have been in Greek.
Luke a convert to Judaism, would not have been proficient enough in Hebrew to write a Gospel in Hebrew, but as a Roman citizen writing to a fellow Roman citizen, Theophilus, Luke probably wrote his original Gospel in Latin.
Thus within a short period after the birth of Christianity on Pentecost Sunday, the Good News had been proclaimed in Hebrew, Greek and Latin.

It’s interesting to note, the most powerful nuclear bomb is called the ‘TSAR Bomba’ (Russian); Azazel (‘satan,’ the evil one - who used to be ‘lucifer’ the light bearer) mocks God’s children!
    The Most Important Message:
Ancient Of Days & Jesus came together to send me a message as one. He propped me up in my bed half asleep & placed His message directly into my mind/existence & moved my fingers to write this (it felt like I was vibrating in His light & He won’t let me forget it - it’s like I memorized it in a couple minutes verbatim):
‘I was asked to call God, as he gave me the command. After I complied & asked for a call he answered & gave me a phone call. I was in disbelief for two seconds then I held up water in a white porcelain cup filled near the rim & listened to his still and quiet voice from the lips of the ripples of the waters.’
The message is as follows. He said:
“Hello Michael. I wanted to congratulate you on your achievements. You have performed as you ought. You are set to the mission of spreading my word. You have resisted the enemy at all turns, even now you take up my sword & armor resisting the enemies lies fed into your ears. You have proved yourself to be a lion in my tribe of Judah. I have sent you upon this world to judge through sight on how wicked they have become as I calibrate my scales. What you are is not what you will become, no you are one of my sons. Be steadfast and relay these as warnings to come.
    1. Any wicked man who should try to move another mountain is dumb. (Creating towers of Babylon around the world.) ~There’s 22,000+ ‘towers of babel’ skyscrapers in the world & ‘babel translating’ computer towers!
    2. Making a mountain out of a mole hill is a war that will never be won. (God sees this wicked generation as a molehill which will be leveled & overthrown.) ~The ‘pride’ Sodom & Gomorrah movement.~
    3. All those that are wicked are the ones who deny my son (Jesus). (Self explanatory.) ~Those who aren’t reborn in Christ nor accept His ways.~
    4. All those who pickup arms will die by the gun. (Those who should try to keep their lives shall lose it.) ~Israel’s aggressive nationalist foreign policy, Islamic terrorists & patriotic ‘prideful’ gun-toting Americans.~
    5. All things I do for my pleasure but some of it is not fun. (God does not enjoy chastising his children with punishment.)
Jesus & I have begun to sow reparations for the wickedness which has been sown. Thank you Michael. ♥️”

Tsar means narrow, tight. Straights distress, adversary, Foe, enemy or oppressor. Jesse was depicted as lying down with a tree growing out of his body.

Thank you, that helps a bit. What i hear a lot is the “Branch” were called Christians, as in Acts 11:26. I understand that Christian was meant in a derogatory sense. What did the followers of “The Way” call themselves? And from when. 🇳🇿4🇮🇱

Sir. Being Christian from Nazareth Israel Hebrew and Arabic speaking person. I ask you “what is do fascinating about the name Notsrii? If it is so great, why jews that submit their lives to Lord Jesus and become Christian, they call themselves as Messianic Jews and NOT נוצרים notsreem ??
Please do your homework correctly because the jews mock us with this name that became official in Israel!!!

    • @HebrewBibleStudy
      @HebrewBibleStudy  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

Thanks for commenting friend. I do my homework and have visited your hometown on several occasions in search for the truth. It’s beautiful there.
As to your comment: not everyone uses נוצרי in a negative way, although some may. It was used in Talmud perhaps in not the greatest of tones. However, in modern times Israelis simply call Christian’s נוצרים. Most don’t mean it as an insult but simply call followers of Yeshua by that name in Hebrew, since they speak Hebrew!
In any case it is a glory to suffer any shame that might be meant by a few along with Messiah. As one of the most famous Jews in history has rightly said,
“Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God on this account" 1 Peter 4:16).

@PatBly-zb3dk ok let's talk about what you mistakenly call god (allah)
Considering the thing you worship is has called itself "the most skillful trickster" I'd say you haven't read anything in the quran....
      I'm assuming you weren't told.
Surah 9:5: "Then kill the disbelievers (non-Muslims) wherever you find them, capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush …"
The Quran is replete with Surahs directing its followers to violence.
      Some examples follow:
Surah 3:151: "We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve (all non-Muslims) …"
Surah 2:191: "And kill them (non-Muslims) wherever you find them … kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers (non-Muslims)."
You offer words of violence and hate for a religion warned against.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR SUPPORTING AND WORSHIPPING?!
You can claim that it's just a few scriptures but it's literally through and in many many of your surahs. ..please stop lying to people

Hello Friend. Thanks for the question. Jesus did not “want” us to be called Notzrim it just happened that way. The church at Antioch, who were Greeks, began calling us Christians in Greek after Jesus’ resurrection and ascension.

Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
I have said for years, that a massive number of "Christians" are of the lost sheep of the house of Israel since it was for
these lost sheep that Jesus was only sent for.
I do not claim "Christianity" as it has become horribly corrupt. I do claim being a Redeemed Israelite.

Back then as today, a large portion of the Jewish population were irreligious, and if Jesus was referring to all non Pharisee Jews as being lost, being a Pharisee Himself, then it would have been the majority, the Herodians, the Sadducees, the Hellenists, the Zealots, the Essenes, etc. all lost to the truth of the Pharisee sect.
No one back then living amongst numerous different competing Jewish sects, would have interpreted that to means the lost tribes of Israel from 800 years previously.

I can see the split from Judaism now. The two schools of the teaching of the Torah: Hillel and Shammai. Hillel taught any one can study the Torah and Shammai believed it was for the elite. Paul was the top student of Hillel so Jesus chose him to spread His word to the world so everyone would know God and not just the few as in Shammai elitist way.

Natsar and Christian are two different things... a Natsar guards the commands ie Torah, a Christian has not eyes to see and ears to hear. A pagan mixture of what is set apart and what is profane.

So we as Christians, we are Called to help bind what binds us just like Jesus! We are Called to Do The Father's Business of Crucifying flesh. Flesh is what binds us all and keeps us in separation from The Father. Flesh is the ONLY ENEMY OF HEAVEN AND EARTH AND CAME FROM THE FALLEN ANGELS!
