This is very insightful Matsobane. Thank you. I find it quite challenging every time recruiters ask me how much i am expecting as a CIMA student. And everytime i tell them how much i am getting at my current job i get ghosted. I dont think CIMA will consider my work experience for my PER hence i am looking at CIMA entry level jobs. 😢 Its actually quite sad when i think about it. But for now i will just focus on my studies i guess.
Thank you, I think you should try looking for a job that will give you some competencies gradually you will have all of them. With CIMA entry level jobs you will have to take a salary cut and just choose a salary range that you can atleast survive on because mentioning your current salary or wanting around what you are currently earning they will ghost you, I have experienced that several times when I was looking for CIMA articles and trainee jobs.
Hi, I would say it depends what kind of an internship. If it's a three year internship where you will be rotating within the finance function I would say go for it If not definitely go for SAIPA articles
Very insight. Thank you for the transparency!!
You are welcome 😊
This is going to be a very popular video 😂😂😂, hey Matsobane 🖤🖤❤

Am glad you found it insightful 😊
I always thought that 13th cheque is extra salary in form of a bonus.
Unfortunately it's not, I thought so too until they explained it to me after I accepted the job offer 😱
Same 😢 we so lucky to have found her content
So so informative; yaz I am still doing Cert in BA & I like having an idea of where I am going and how it’s like there.
Thank you Matsobane.
Am glad you found the video informative 😊
Hey Matsobane, i wanted to ask for someone who is an aspiring CGMA, would you recommend they do SAIPA articles or finance internships?
