Pyro getting shadow nerfed because of the PVP mode they had playtested is so dumb. The PVP mode hasn’t come back in 4 months yet pyro is nerfed in every mode. Giving him a pierce cap completely ruined the increased burn time, which is what made him good. Just like gladiator he’s forgotten due to getting its pierce nerfed….
I think gladiator got forgotten since he cant defend early anymore in fallen at all

@@drinkwateritgoodwhy? I know you are talking about the regular version but it gives 180 cash at max level, i still used gcow without farm when it gave 120 cash at max level so farm is useless with it. Normal cowboy is also way cheaper

Personally i would put gcrook at first, in practice it is actually REALLY good, level 3 can shred through stuff really easily when you get it, good detection, and while units can be inconsistent, units are still generally good, and while it isn't good on short maps, nobody actually plays long maps anyways... plus theres also the fact that as a SUB DPS, its stats are ludicrous, with just having its bodyguard on max and its own dps, it has even more dps than the accelerator, and while pistol crooks are quite fragile, the tommys and bodyguards are decently tanky with 125 and 225 respectively, which can still do fairly well, and honestly gcrook is always EXTREMELY impressive in mid-lategame, and pretty good in early game, comparing it to golden mini for example, level 2 gmini is around the level of cost as a level 3 gcrook, and gcrook is just way stronger plus no rev up, and while the placement is higher, people usually don't exclusively play solo

I agree with you on the part of crook being a higher classification, specially because it is indeed really good when comparing to other towers and works well with almost anything, but cowboy would still be in first place, after all, he is way more versitile and works on pretty much every map, while will allowing you to get extra dps since you wont need to bring farm with it, so crook would be on second place
i think crook boss's main weakness is it's very map dependant but if you play to it's strengths it's incredibly effective
I exclusively play solo so i always use gcow
6. scout; good early game tower but just heavily outclassed
5. minigunner; solid dps option but just way too unreliable with its short range and its absurd price
4. soldier; one of the best early game options w/ its flying detection and cost efficiency but there are still towers that outclass it such as shotgunner
3.pyromancer; great and versatile support/earlygame tower and is a good option for early crowd control/late game defense melting
2. cowboy; amazing earlygame option and being one of the few towers to produce cash but its only flaw that its really only good on solo or special modes
1. crook boss; amazing sub dps option for early-late game and now that it has flying detection makes it a worth it golden tower
golden cowboy is great mostly only for solos duos and sometimes trios on specific maps(winter stronghold) but you should never run it in quads fallen mode because of the bad eco the tower has, especially in maps where most of the dps towers are gonna be placed in the same spot as it, ur gonna struggle with money, if u wanna bring it for extra income bring farm alongside, if ur ever forced to do early game you can use it and then start using farms once ur teammates help u
Golden cowboy is also performing very well on PW2, as he can handle till wave 14, it works even better when 3 other players are farming
When I got my first Golden Crate, I was begging that I don’t get Pyro.

Golden crook boss does everything except leads.
And it does everything exceptionally. This tower is so slept on its not even funny.
Theres one thing that I don't agree with is that melt def means so much in late game,pyro can destroy breakers,drain enemies HP can be used early to late while scout is only for early game which can be replace by many alternatives
Reworked dj, and electro shocker: chat does he know?
Dj is good with melt def and crowd control but low dmg and only for a period of time,and elec can only melt for 15%,which is worse than pyro,and 10% with 50% def enemies

Pyro is not worth it to bring over a lot of other towers
Electro can stun + deal with flying
Dj is really strong support with ability to slow/melt defense
Pyro can only do 2 things, do damage and melt defense and worst of all, his fire will actually made any freezing tower useless
I am not saying pyro is useless, he just severely outclassed

Tbf all of the golden skins are good now. They can have very good uses. It's now just based on which one you like to use the most. And my most used golden tower is golden soldier and my least used is golden pryo.
I remember pyro being the most hated tower because the fire kinda sped up enemies. But after the Frost invasion update those who have gpyro is consider a saviour from god to beat Outpost 32

Btw gcowboy not having lead detection is a good thing. U can literally farm leads for so much money in hc. If they gove gcowboy lead detection. It would considered a NERF.

Why are the devs giving pricing nerfs to towers we like, first off this just feel like a lazy nerf, gladiator and gold pyromancer use to be the top towers for early defense, (when pyromancer was good during golden perk era) now it a tower no one uses.
Gold pyro has simply been untouched for a while now so it sorta has fallen off in the gold tower meta
Lets be honest, no enemy runs past minigunners just because of its rev up.

Let me show you my list rq
6th: G Pyro. I really only use this guy for defense melting. He's not that different from the regular version.
5th: G Soldier. Now before yall slander me, lemme cook. G Soldier is here because he's outclassed at literally every catagory. He just ends up being a jack of all trades, master of none, just like Millitant. Early game is done by shotgunner and the 4th place tower in ranking, mid game is near irrelevant since you can just save up or farm for a late game tower, and late game is done by late game towers. Hes just way too generalized to be any good.
4th: G Scout. Best early game. This guy helps me complete quests fast and is overall a good speed running tower. Sure, he has bad late game and mid game, but you arent supposed to rely on him for dps. There is a reason why you have 5 slots. G Scout being so specialized in 1 area is at least better than G Soldier, who is outclassed everywhere.
3rd: G Cowboy. Finally, we get into the stuff that's actually worth it! G Cowboy is the SOLO and DUO carry. His money-making is insane, and he can dish out some pretty good damage at max lvl too. He struggles in TRIO and SQUADS, though. This is quite a heavy downside, since many hard game modes are done easiest with more players. G Cowboy not being able to be compatible in this catagory makes him stuck in 3rd place.
2nd: G Mini. Quite literally just a better Accelerator. It's one of the best DPS towers, and I usually pair him with Engi, Ranger, or Gatling Gunner. It's generally a really good tower. It somewhat suffers from low range though so finding good spots for G Mini can be a bit tricky.
1st: G Crook. Literal cracked out sub dps. Has insane potential with summons and has overpowered synergy with merc base medics and rifleman. It shreds literally everything. Pair with Engi, Ranger, or Gatling, and victory is almost guaranteed. Although he seems like a generalist like G Soldier, he is better than him in almost every way, seperating him from a pure generalist to a insane all around tower. Somewhat dependent on the map, but you are usually gonna play easier maps for a higher chance of winning, unless you are doing a challenge or something. Cost isn't much of a problem too, since DJ exists and good farming can help you get 5 max quickly, which you should prioritize before spamming your dps. With almost no downsides and extreme versatility, it lands in 1st.
Shotgunner (maybe used it wrong but idk I just spammed lvl 0>1>2 until main dps)
Started to leak much earlier than soldier did
And for coverage shotgunner has lead but it comes much later and rly expensive
While gsoldier has flying and comes in quite early and cheap
I mean yea for early I do agree it's not the best compared to like trapper gcb gcow
But rn shotgunner not only is below gsoldier I feel like it's rly mid
Also medics don't really help out units that much unless they have really high health, the shield and healing is just not rly worth it
@@killingtime8652 You gotta make use of shotgunners targetting. Shotgunner is one of the main towers for many speedrunning strategies like Silly Quickdraw, Pizza Munchers, Violent Party, and more.
@@killingtime8652 Still useful for stomps and can give other ranged towers a bit more time to attack before dying.
Shotgunner is significantly worse than gsoldier for anything that isnt quads speedrunning and having a tower thats useless for late game just destroys your late game thats why me personally id swap gsoldier and gscout otherwise good list
For me I'd say golden crook boss as the best, gold mini behind, gold soldier, gold pyro, then gold scout

5st - golden pyromance
4st - golden soldier
3st - golden crook boss
2st - golden scout
1st - golden miniguner

For solo players, Gmini, Gcow, and Gcrook are actually extremely good (Well Gcow is honestly op in solo).
Gmini is good because of its placement limit (15), You can get enough space and money in solo to get all 15, And its better than accel tbh.
Next is Gcrook,

My loadout is gold cowboy, engineer, pursuit/rangers, mercenary base, and dj (is this loadout good?)
Golden pyro got real humbled, It's a very usable tower that can provide decent splash along with HD and LD (lead detection) for hardcore. At lvl 4 and max it has really good overtime damage meaning you might not have to use consumables or defend in the back if you leak weak enemies.
Also gscout could probably be the worst gold tower. It doesnt provide lategame sub dps to fill ur placement slots unlike gold soldier and the lead detection isnt really useful as its only HC with leads and you'll be bringing other towers to deal with leads anyway so the LD is kinda useless. Pretty much restricted to like the first 10 waves which by then you could get stuff like engineers rangers wardens or other midgame dps to essentially repalce gscout
Nobody really uses it in hardcore anymore since better strats came out

bro kinda missed on golden crook he can do around 400dps maxed with double pistol goons and body guards attacking also having i think 225hp so imagine that stacking and stacking with a limit of 6
My list
6th Golden mini - sucks at solo cuz of placement limit and same with quad
5th G Pyro - just an good support, and melts hazmats greatly in polluted wastelands, but still not that good.
4th Golden cowboy - Normal one is better for making money cuz normal does less damage and gives almost same amounts of cash, so use normal one.
3th Golden scout - Good early game defense + Very cost efficient
2nd G soldier - Same like golden scout but it has flying detection and can be used in mid and end game.
1st G crook boss - Literally can do more dps than engi, gatling or turret cuz of 120 dps on tommy goon unit and like G crook has 200 dps so its one of the best dps options IN THE ENTIRE GAME.
normal cowboy literally only makes more money on lvl 1-3 while g cowboy makes triple the amount after those levels. you also have to consider how many people you use cowboy with as its really only good on solo, golden cowboy also has a much better eco to damage ratio allowing you to plow through earlygame to mid game with it just alone
normal cowboy making more money and doing less damage may sound much better but at that point just use farm as you're just going to die to leaks anyway if its used as your early game option

Yall be glazing G crook when its placement limit is 5. Golden soldiers is however many you can, and yea, 5 max g crooks beats 5 max g soldiers, but 20-30 g soldiers beats 5 max g crooks easily. Keep in mind G soldier is the ONLY Golden tower that can reach wave 40 on fallen with support by itself.
Golden Pyro - Low dmg
Golden Minigunner - Too expensive to place
Golden Cowboy - Placement limit of 12.

as a user of gold crook, it did not help with new fallen midgame..... even after the buff.(yes its the jesters killing crook stacks)
well in a quad you can get like 5 gcrooks, 6 engineers and 7 rangers, which is probably better than 20 golden soldiers.
golden pyro is amazing for events, #1 tower for events lets keep it real here folks.

Fact is money is not much needed in this game, even without a farm or cowboy you can still get plenty of stuff if you manage your money right.
