Was in the city this past week and dropped in for some bag and shadow boxing work. 20$ day fee was worth all and more. Wilder media day and open workout was a bonus. I'm 58 years old and have been to gyms around the country and iof course this place is historic. If you are a a fan of the game you have to spend a day here.
I initiated my boxing training at Bobby Gleason's Gym many years ago as a fourteen year old boy. That was when Bobby Gleason's gym was located in the Bronx on Westchester Avenue. At that time the gym was filled with a tremendous amount of fistic talent. It was a great learning experience for a boy. Lastly, I had the opportunity to meet many genuinely good people as well.
As a kid in the 80s my father took me .. coming from Texas I was blown away…… Where can I find records of fighters amateurs ... Billie Morgan help me out please or some footage
