Hero’s history is the one that tells the whole story of part 1 Naruto while Hero Contest is more like post game type of thing and I believe you can unlock other ultimates for your characters and change it to the one that you like most.

While yes each character having three ultimates is cool, I feel like that hindered the devs for making more ultimates because the ultimates in the first two games were a little too long since each one had like 2-4 parts to the ultimate and if they stayed with that then we would’ve had ultimates that would probably have like 6 or 7 parts to them, but doing it this way keeps the ultimates short you get back into the battle quicker and if you have a ultimate you like you can simply customize the character and change the ultimate to that preferred one.
Yeah, that’s true, since this game probably has more characters than the last, and everyone having 3 different ultimates would be a little much, especially back then lol. I probably will see if I can change the ultimate to some cooler ones if I even have some to choose from.

The controls aren’t anything crazy. It really is starting to turn into Ultimate Ninja Storm, but at that point I wasn’t expecting the ultimate to be like that, which made me question if that even was the ultimate😅
