This is legitimately how my family is. I'm the youngest of four, and my two older brothers have 0 prospects - NONE. My mom has no idea how to even talk to them, let alone convince them into actually getting jobs. I cannot wait to graduate college and just get the fuck outta dodge.
Why should he have to waste his life trying to help them when they make no effort? Just because they are his brothers does not mean he HAS to help them with anything.

The BEST thing i ever did was cut him out of my life as he had been getting involved with gangs since he left school. Family is not blood, family are those who you care about deeply. Cutting toxic people out of your life regardless of blood relations is ALWAYS a good thing.
We use to steal my buddies mothers weed (she was black) and when she would call us out he’d just tell her to shut up and get outta his room. She would never do shit to stop him. She was a push over where my mom (White) would have best my ass. So I’m not sure I understand the joke.
