Fantastic video, black people helping black people is the business to get into. My trichology led TH-cam videos and business does exactly that and I feel fulfilled. ❤
This is such a valuable video. Thanks for challenging me. I've been Natural for seven years and trying to create awareness for young sisters like me online and offline, especially in Nigeria. It is not easy getting the support you need to push my brand. That's why I recently started my TH-cam channel. God bless you! 😊
Degree required to partner with corporate brands in regards to diversity inclusion? I’m a hair care professional with 27 years of experience. I’m looking to pivot!
I would love to book a session with you and discuss a small business I’m going to launch. I’m currently writing the business plan. Do you provide a service to review business plans?
Congratulations on going natural! I've been natural since 2010 and started my business as an Expert Traveling Natural Hair Care Incubator, Health and Life Coach and CEO of Spirals Kinks N Coils LLC. Don't stress too much about hair types depending on how your styling it really doesn't matter too much m to learn it all for your day to day just learn your hair. Understanding your Porosity will help you more along your journey cause that tell you what your hair needs more of and what products will help you achieve that!! Feel free to reach out anytime I'll share all my knowledge with you! (Some good hair info also on my channel)

Thank you for this. I have been trying to think of directions to go in the hair industry that will not include being in the salon anymore. Time to use my degrees along with my passion.
Figure out your hair porosity and take care of your hair according to that. GAME CHANGER!!! For example, I have low porosity hair, so daily I use the LCO method. Weekly, I pre-poo with rice water. Then I wash, then deep condition and steam. Then, regular condition. Once a month, I do a bentonite clay mask followed by a clarifying shampoo.
Whether you wanna be a fierce naturalista or a straight natural like me, heat protectant and baby your ends between washes. Nothing makes you lose length faster than split ends and heat damage, but you’re hair can dry out and break too (learned than while keeping it in pin curls but no bonnet while dealing with an extended Sickle Cell crisis). Ofc you don’t need to use heat, but if you do want to and you’re careful, you can minimize the damage. I also implemented other things my beautician does, like steam treatments, deep condition abs I baby my ends with a light oil every few days for retention. My hair has been less than 3 in from waist length but I had to cut it because of heat damage trying to stretch the time between appointments. There are other ways to keep hair stretched! My favorite is pincurls. Now I’m about six inches from waist length and only flatiron ONCE after applying protectant liberally! One last tip, use hair shears if you wanna trim yourself. I used regular scissors because I couldn’t find the shears and my hair spilt along the cut (only my bangs split and I’d only cut them, so I knew it was the scissors). LAST time doing that! Happy growing!
I absolutely love this video. Can you believe I was just refreshing myself with DEI and to hear you speak about it CHILE. I'm empowered. I'm betting on myself this year and forever. Ty

You’re a valuable assets to the BW community thank you for the awesome content. I would love a video on branding business using social media, especially LinkedIn. Many thanks ❤
Something similar that I see often in Jamaica, it's where a person owns the salon and employs a lot of hairstylists and others in the cosmetology field (nail techs, barbers etc) but they're not actually working there. Another thing that I see is that, someone would rent the space to those in the Cosmo field ONLY. So basically, instead of employing them, it's a hub of hairstylists working in a space. And they basically pay rent for their "chair" - which is basically their corner of the salon
