The Society for Brain Mapping and Therapeutics (SBMT) and World Brain Mapping Foundation have been at the forefront of neuroscience policies and were two of the early advocates for the USA/President Obama's BRAIN initiative, which was signed into law in 2014 (two years after SBMT and WBMF advocacy).
