- Hey Pie-o-nears.... Satisfactory Version 1.0 is coming in 2024 and its time to have some real fun, and now i just want to go nuts with an interesting playthrough. That is right, i am playing a modded version of the game and yes, its going to be nuts.

nice! with refined power and ficsit farming, you might as well just use satisfactory plus, it includes both of those plus completely overhauls the game.
EDIT: ive found the best way to use wind power is either if you have batteries, or use it to supplement your biofuel plant so that you use less fuel. also, did I see triangular foundations?!?!?!
Thanks, i knew Satisfactory plus did overhaul the game but i didn't know it included the others. and i just started using biomass burners to help with the power issues. helped a bunch.
Oh and yes, those are triangular foundations. i cant wait to find something to use them on.
Are you aware there are several mods that add to the Satisfactory Plus mod? Wall Supports SF Plus Compat, Super (Alternate) Recipies SF +, and Overdrive Manufacturing SF +

@@vincewilson1 I was not aware! thank you for the information. I will look into them as soon as I get back to SF+ I am taking a break for a while so I am fresh to the game when 1.0 comes out.

so true, and they work really well together. the whole Modding comunity is a labor of love for a game with developers who did the same... almost poetic
There is a large body of water aways behind your base and if you look around you will find several coal nodes. The dune desert has every kind of node you need to get to the mid-game.

Why didn't you use the biomass burners after setting up your wind power? Those should only use biomass, when your windmills can't generate enough power. So more or less a manual battery for the time until you get batteries or coal power.
Didn't think of it. Had limited biomass so didn't want to wast it if I didn't have to.
Just came across your channel, looking forward to your play through. Im just disappointed to find out you just posted this 22hrs ago. Now i have to wait for another video.

@3:57, Decides to scan for iron when there is an iron node a couple of inches away that everyone can plainly see except for the apparently blind player.

One of these days when im not finding satisfactory challenging enough i want to try Satisfactory plus that thing is insane.
You like to build try these 2 mods DI More Glass and More Beams and Pillars
you have to see the dune desert at night.
lol yeah i keep geting told about Satisfactory plus, i saw bitz playing it and looks fun.
i will look into those mods, i have a bunch of extra glass from another one but can never have to much.

Try building a FICMAS factory then view it at night in the Dune desert. Of course, you have to wait a few months for the Ficmas event to start again.

And they all can change color using swatches including the glass
