if you want more output. make a ported enclosure. subs are good for 500-600rms each clean wattage. the biggest thing is don't clip them. I'd stay away from bass boost, loudness. bass knob etc.
This box is good its my girls system and she doesnt want more space taken away its perfect for her, if it was my truck i would use the whole bed and put some 15's or 18's lol
After gain is set correctly with a DMM device, the only point of bass knob is to quickly reduce output, if something doesn’t sound right, since some songs can occasionally drive your amplifier in to clipping, even with everything set correctly, but nice job trying to sound like you know what your talking about 😂😂🤣
@@joeystall3703 clipping or something then. Two of these can easily take a RP1500.1. Head Unit all flat. Bass Boost maxed. Gain tuned to where it's just shy of clipping. Bass Boost as volume knob.
You need to port that box bro, I'm beating hard on the same two subs and a Jenson Amp from Walmart that's push 750 RMS at 1 ohm and I'm beating twice that hard in a 05 Honda civic

i ended up having my mechanic redo it cause when i did it it started leaking lol he re did it and its been fine, the only thing i didnt like about it is the dipstick tube needed modified since i broke the original one and i ended buying a base model dipsick tube and basially just sits on there i just ziptied it so it wouldnt pop up
try and use your lsj dipstick tube on the base model pan if you end up getting one just make sure you pop out the dipstick tube out right so it wont break has a little small hole by it u push in and then pull i didnt do that the first time and broke it
yeah they are but the amp is turned down i wouldnt buy them again they cant take power, they do decent because my girl just needed a little bass nothing crazy
That's because you're not ported man. They are ment to handle sealed. Turn the bass all the way down on the amp. And the frequency have it only between 50 and 80. They also they aren't getting much air.
i cant turn them around seats gotta close and this is my girls system she's happy with it she dont jam as hard as i do, ill get a ported box later for these though

How long did those subs last on 1500 watts?
subs are still good , the amp was turned down
Those subs will last forever with 1500w RMS and no clipping. These can easily handle 750w RMS each. Easily.
