Well we had Pirelli’s that wouldn’t balance for nout, Continental’s that lasted 6k a set, Michelin which were great but cost serious money. Now we have a mix of Landsail 4 Season, LS388 and LS288, all of which feel good on the road, last well, are fuel efficient and cost 30-40% less than the tyres they replaced. Sorry it’s a no brained for us.

I have ordered a pair of LS388 to replace my almost gone Dunlop. it performs well both in wet and dry road condition, emergency brake and wet cornering also executed very well. Originally i thought the made in China tyres are just cheap alternative, in compared with other foregin brand, both reputation and quality. But the actual(so far 7000 miles) road driving experience refreshed the ordinary impression of made in china. Landsail is really good, i shall order a pair for rear soon.
My tyres are .225/45/17 ls388xl.I think quietest on market and economical.They are perfect if you driving motorway at 70mph long distance.Negatives yes not for people like taking corner fast due to low road resistance and good on fuel but I think Landsail performance tyres are ls988.I don't know why not popular in uk considering they are above other budget brands.

I ran these for several years and they do perform like any other tire, would definitely buy again!
