@@MukeshsTechSpace That was set up already. I had to set up an SSH key to use SFTP. At least on FileZilla, regular FTP will not work. Once I set up the key, it worked like a charm. Thanks!
The problem is the Passive Mode Port Range, PureFTPd enables 41952 - 65534 ephemeral ports that in LightSail you must open up as well in addition to port 21. Once I added this range as Custom range it worked like a charm....

I personally would use a 3rd party email service like Google Workspace, AWS Workmail or Office 365. They will be much better in the email space than setting up our own. As far as I can tell I have followed every step yet when I try to log in after changing my host name like you do at the about the 8:00 minute mark I get the Firefox SSL error because it is a self signed SSL certificate. It won't let me bypass it. I can get through using Chrome though. I have been searching for ways to get this fixed but nothing seems to work.
It would have been great to see you actually use filezilla or coreftp to log in. I can't get either to work. I can only get filezilla to ftp into the lightsail instance but not any of the root or public folders ( I can see a few but it won't allow me to access them). I actually downloaded a configuration file for coreftp and when I import it and click connect it just keeps prompting me for the username and password over and over.

Yes you can run a full mail/smtp service on whm. I would not recommend it unless you are an experienced sys admin on mail server management. Also port 25 is automatically blocked but you can add it to the firewall. But email on port 25 is not secure.

Thanks! No; the CPANEL server has the Database Server, you can create multiple databases on it. Each Account can have a database on the server. Use the CPANEL for the Account to create more databases.

are you trying to setup mail services on the CPANEL server? If so you may need to setup MX records. Suggest you look at setting up email on CPANEL if you need mail services. However I don't recommend it.

Sorry but I'm not sure. I can suggest to review the NS/DNS setup for the Account since you're using Cpanel DNS Zone then the domains Nameservers need to be pointed to Cpanel NS at the Registrar.
There is only one license for CPanel. If you are a hosting business you may want to refer to a sysadmin cpanel expert for proper setup, just my suggestion.

Hey Mukesh, very useful. WHM/cPanel deployed. I've kept the dns at the registrar and have the dedicated IP. I left the addresses blank and changed the A record.. Do I use route 53 to set up the dns addresses too? Sorta lost.. 🤔
If you intend to keep DNS at the registrar then you just need to add / update the A records pointing to your static IP. No need for route 53. Route 53 is DNS management itself. Hope that helps.

When you create a new WHM account there would be an option to use DNS at registrar, make sure that is checked. If that doesn’t work you may need to start over and make sure during setup you chose to not setup NS.

When I type admin.mydomain.com or web.mydomain.com (based on his directions with setup and adding dns records) the cpanel and whm pages don't show up. That error means Cpanel can't validate the IP address for which the License is attached. If you initiated the trial license while your instance had a dynamic IP vs Static IP you may come across this error. You should check by going to the CPanel website and see which IP is connected to the license. Update the IP if it is different and try again. If that doesn't work then probably open a support ticket to Cpanel since this is a license issue. Good luck.
that depends on other factors. you may want to try with a smaller instance and upgrade until you have a good resource usage. You might want to consider the WordPress Cluster videos I have done so that you have smaller instances in a load balanced setup. Good luck

You must specify a maximum number of addon domains that you can create (greater than 0) in the Modify an Account interface (WHM >> Home >> Account Functions >> Modify an Account). A value of 0 prevents addon domain creation. docs.cpanel.net/cpanel/domains/addon-domains/

I'm not entirely sure why you get that error as it is not specific, sorry. At what point are you getting the error in the setup or creation of an account? Have you tried reaching out to CPANEL support.

One account can host typically one website. You might be able to put websites in sub directory for the same domain. You could try WP multisite setup to see if that works

I never installed on same server, its fresh account and email when i registered for trail, got mail with the command "cd /home && curl -o latest -L securedownloads.cpanel.net/latest && sh latest" , now again getting the same error The installation process found evidence that the following control panels were installed on this server:

Hi, I guess Firefox is blocking it but if you use Chrome, then you can use their autossl service to create a free SSL and assign it to your hostname.

Sorry you are running into the issue. FTP for each account is setup in Cpanel and you can create username and password there.
Can u create video on whm aws sending and receiving emails using webmail. Outgoing is not working after setup.
Sure I'll consider that. However I recommend using external mail services like Google, Zoho, Microsoft etc. They will have better reliability.

Zoho offers free accounts up to 5 users. I have videos on SES and other email services that may help.

The NS should be that of the domain registrar. Unless your running NS service on Cpanel too.

Sorry but I'm not sure. I can suggest to review the NS/DNS setup for the Account since you're using Cpanel DNS Zone then the domains Nameservers need to be pointed to Cpanel NS at the Registrar.

With new version of WHM/CPanel it is automated with the AutoSSL setup. Just setup a hostname and point DNS to the Cpanel IP.

You will need to setup a new instance with WHM and create new hosting accounts on it. Then use a migration tool to move your Wordpress sites.

can we host a website on that instance with that c panel just a single website for business purpose
Yes you can host as many websites server can handle. You need Cpanel license however

One account can host typically one website. You might be able to put websites in sub directory for the same domain. You could try WP multisite setup to see if that works

Just create an account for each website in Cpanel. The video shows how to create an Account and setup DNS. Do the same steps for all sites.

I never installed on same server, its fresh account and email
when i registered for trail, got mail with the command "cd /home && curl -o latest -L securedownloads.cpanel.net/latest && sh latest"
