So is Qadrasteer sill an option on the GMC trucks and was this available on Chevrolet trucks ?
They discontinued Quadrasteer on the trucks. It was available on some Silverados and the 2500 Suburbans for 2002-2005 model years.
4 wheel steering. What could go wrong?
Nothing goes wrong, it was an excellent system.
Why can't we bring rear steer back???

It is back! A ton of new vehicles have it. Including the Cybertruck, the hummer EV, a bunch of Porsches, a bunch of Mercedes, and I'm sure a bunch of ones I'm forgetting
Thats very expensive for a truck back in 2001 to 2002. A decent affordable truck at that time would be around $27000.
