Can you explain how you connected the LED wires? I used the harness that plugs into the headlights, but I've had mine less than a year and it's already out😭, so I want to do something similar.
I did but RGBW isn't really my thing. These strips do have a switchback function so I thought about wiring them to flash when I'm turning but decided on just leaving them white to keep things simple.
About 5-6 years. So it's still on, but very dim. Just sucks bc you would think it would last longer bc it's so damn expensive and you can't even change a bulb on it. 😒🥺😭 @209Stretch
That's a neat idea. I was really disappointed when I got my gm bowtie and it was as dim as it is.

The strips that I epoxied into the back had pigtails on them so I wired them into the harness that came with the glowtie

Kind of crazy that a $300 OEM illuminated emblem would only have 6 LEDs. Good improvement!
Agreed. It's probably some sort of legality that they can only make them so bright if I were to guess.
