Natasha Daintry | In the Studio

Natasha Daintry is an artist working in ceramics, who has enjoyed a celebrated career investigating the poetic potential of porcelain, and its relationship to colour.
Natasha has won numerous awards and has exhibited widely in the UK including COLLECT and the York Museums Trust collection, as well as commissions for the Duke of Devonshire and commemorative gifts for the British Royal Family.
Natasha uses porcelain as a vehicle for explorations of colour and form, exploiting the clay’s natural muscularity and delicacy to explore scale through making massive and tiny vessels. Inspired by her experience working with the ceramics industry in Stoke-on-Trent Natasha employs the potter’s repertoire of repetition and multiplicity to investigate movement through fields of coloured pots.
