Have you been able to use a vr magnetic sensor through a input on a ft 550 without a vr converter? It's driving me crazy

No it’s impossible to make it work without a converter on a regular white input.

So for an oil pressure sensor I have to have it wired up to #5 correct or it doesn’t matter ?

It doesn’t matter. Use any white wire as long as you set it up in the software as that number.

ok thank u so much. i am new to my fuel tech ecu so where to connect the grund ? to the nagative battery terminal or in the plug ? and where i got the +12V from ? thanks

For pressure sensors you use 5v and sensor ground from the FT550 harness. 5v is green with a red stripe and sensor ground is green with a black stripe.
