Donna talked about how everything is a new experience here, how things are different from what we knew for so long, and it is true. And later, after living here for some years, you notice and appreciate small, subtle things. Such as when the sun rises more in the northeast or more toward the southeast at any particular time of year, when this or that flower blooms, when the dozens and hundreds of species of birds migrate through, when the seasons change. Such as noticing that when someone goes into a store or an elevator, that they call out, "Buenos dias" or "Buenas tardes" and people respond with the same. Learning the language is a huge plus; it allows one to tap into the people and their culture. There is no end to the experiences here.
That is so true. I remember waking up on my first morning in Panama, in Altos del Maria - it was magical!!! The lush green trees and plants, the birds - it felt like another world. Now it is my day-to-day life but I still hold it in reverence. And there is always something new in the garden, such a gift.

Hi Patty. Great video. Zip lining was on my bucket list too. But last Mon. I had a mild heart attack. I was in the hospital for 4 days. So, idk if I'm going to move to Panama.
