Hi there I hand tool leather and I work with leather. If you use sand paper to lightly sand the gloss off only on red part you can repaint it a more brown color. Also the bumpy part you were talking about is the skin/hide skin cells. Fake animal hide is more noisy and more plastic like. As for the lettering on the print the real you can see blends into the leather. The fake when you look at it up close has streaks or lines in the paint.
I want to revise my original now having worked with repurposing the real lv and also the fake lv materials, the “fake’ is not a fake it is the same materials. It however is probably a discounted one reason being is there is no liner and the quality isn’t perfect. No many people have noticed that. The reason for that is the authentic bags are all one piece of canvas. The canvas is wrapped around to make the bag from one piece so therefore part of it is upside down. You can do more research on how the bag is made if you have more questions.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *amzrepe* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

About the difference in the brown coloring of the canvas your wrong that it would be an obvious fake. I've spoken to several of my SAs over the years and under the process of their canvas making each batch is different. I've bought many monogram bags and several of them are different in darkness.

Unfortunately, you got a poorly made replica. I too have an authentic and replica that I like to share comparisons on and the only way I knew they were not the same is because I purchased them. I live in China and you are right this is poor replica and always exist few tiers of replicas sometimes even same supplier around batch 2-3 can improve a lot due to customers feedback. And price can say everything - the perfect replica cost up to 10% of original bag even in China. Also in China do not exist one source of replicas different suppliers doing replicas some of them just use pictures and videos and are cheap cuz of low investment and other factory which is expensive have to buy 1-3 pcs of original bag then price is higher and third tier of suppliers is factories which doing replicas from higher tier factory replica.

The LV logo is supposed to be upside down. They are that way on authentic bags as well. It’s one large piece of canvas wrapped around to make the bag.

Unfortunately, you got a poorly made replica. I too have an authentic and replica that I like to share comparisons on and the only way I knew they were not the same is because I purchased them. I live in China and you are right this is poor replica and always exist few tiers of replicas sometimes even same supplier around batch 2-3 can improve a lot due to customers feedback. And price can say everything - the perfect replica cost up to 10% of original bag even in China. Also in China do not exist one source of replicas different suppliers doing replicas some of them just use pictures and videos and are cheap cuz of low investment and other factory which is expensive have to buy 1-3 pcs of original bag then price is higher and third tier of suppliers is factories which doing replicas from higher tier factory replica.

The title makes it clear that the video will be about designer bags. I find these types of videos very helpful and although I can't afford these bags yet, I know one day I will. Your terminology is driving me crazy! It’s not “ leathering’ it’s just leather. The “ bumps” are called Texture! The fake bag has “ lipstick red” gazing, not “Red lipstick”. Also when you’re doing a ‘Fake VS Real ‘ bag comparison, it helps to have the same style, not a totally different bag, and also they should both be the same age or both brand new. Try again.
