Ms. Shiffrin skiing on a completely different level. A 2 second plus margin of victory at this level is virtually unheard of. She’s becoming the Max Verstappen on the FIS circuit. Congrats to her and all the other great athletes who competed.
Shiffrin is the GOAT, she doesn't compare with Verstappen. I am no expert in Formula 1 but there are also Schumacher, Vettel, Hamilton, etc. who have won the WC multiple times.

One thing that I'm really noticing is that the courses are prepared harder than in some previous years. Last year was obviously exceptionally bad, with lots of races held at temperatures where salting was the order of the day, but even before that it seemed to me that the women's courses were prepared somewhat softer and grippier. Schiffrin seems to benefit quite a bit from harder courses, whereas Vlhova is historically a master of manky surface conditions.
I agree. I think Petra will probably win in Flachau, though. She has won that more than Mikaela, and it seems like the snow is usually soft there. Per my memory, anyway.
