Wonder how much he scored those for. I remember when they were $2-5 each on clearance before 94 so I can only imagine they were maybe the same price in 94

Did you ever get a replacement NES? I think there was some video footage of you playing on an NES 2? Tell the story someday.....

Back in the day, I had stacks of those Atari game catalogs from 1977-1983. Don't know why, but I was obsessed with them.

What a beautiful pile of Atari games. I got into Atari games last Christmas, when my mom gifted me one of these miniature Atari flashback consoles. I like these games a lot, since they're easy to pick up and play.
The Super Nintendo was my first gaming console back in the mid 90's, and it still is the console that I love the most, but even though the Atari 2600 and 7800 games are grafically on a more simplistic level compared to the SNES, they still are a lot of fun to me.

No disrespect to your dad but I don't think that Nintendo abd Sega copied Atari's 8-bit 7800. Come on. Actually you could say that the Sega Master system took a lot of its hardware inspiration from the ColecoVision.
Ripped off Atari??? Seriously, the hardware specs are completely freaking different the game libraries were completely freaking different unless you like the fact that Pac-Man played like dog s*** on Atari.

your dad really did know somehow that this would be like a thing on youtube one day. all this "next episode" stuff I mean I guess you traded tapes with your cousins and stuff maybe during the time? I don't know. but it really is kinda cool. What also is cool is that atari haul. I always loved the atari boxes the most for retro games. stylish basic but timeless

...I'm still waiting for Tyler's other Atari video; the one where his Dad picked him up from School, brought him home, and got him a 2600.

If dad was raising u in our our era he would be the guy waiting for the ps5 AND xbox series s releases at midnight in japan (or wherever theyre being released 1st). He would be the guy the the 50 different email accounts and maybe even some bots n refreshing every 5 seconds just so he could procure the system for YOU on launch day!!!... there are guys out there doimg all that to get the system for THEMSELVES as an adult but not dad, nope! He wanted to get them just to see the look on your face which is probably the most exciting part for him!! i wonder how geeked out dad would be with 2023 tech?? Would he be dissapointed at how slow the advancements got after the ps3/360 generation but has his mind blown with the growth of the internet and smartphones!! Would he be a youtuber or twitch streamer his damn self?!? Most definitely a partner channel with his son certainly???. i geel like dad is already behind the camera while u film ur yourube videos whether u know it or not!! "Cmon kid!! Tell them about the time u got ur snes!!" then tyler- "hmm i think i wanna make a vid about snes xmas!" Dad-"HELL YAH thats what im talking about!, wait a minute can he hear me!?!?" Lol. I kno dads always with u while ur filming and editing and probably giving u video ideas subconsciously....

Hey there Tyler, love this video and at that all of the videos. I was wondering about what made your dad come up with this idea of reviewing games and documenting them…perhaps did he start doing that way back during the Atari times 😮 👍

So you had thousands of dollars worth of collector items and you decided to unseal them all..... TBH 20 sealed new items like those in 2023 graded by WATA, probably at the least 2000-5000$ worth.
