I was the only person on BOTH sides of my sister’s wedding- maid of honor and best person. Yes, the wedding was absolutely tiny, but it was nice. Or they can just not have a wedding party. It’s not like bridesmaids or groomsmen are actually necessary.

I've been with my partner for 17 years. Sometimes I still think it would be nice to marry him - or move on and find someone who wants to marry me. This story made me realize that I wouldn't have any friends to invite. Bridesmaids aren't a thing in my country fortunately. But not having friends to invite sounds like a wedding would just force me to face my lacking social life. I really don't want to do this.

Yay I made it to an episode! This was such a positive story! Made me melt how much OP loves his lady. The fact that the friends care as much as they do says a lot! Beautiful. I’m an introvert too. But I am blessed to have a big family and a couple of close friends so wedding party isn’t a problem between my siblings and 2, maybe 3 friends. My babydaddy got me an OGTHA hat for Christmas!! I literally yelped with joy!! Way More than I did for the AirPods. He knows I love Reddit stories and listen to you guys the most. So AirPods with OGTHA went hand in hand. He ain’t so bad after all lol. I sent him the OGTHA hat link and asked for it randomly and there it was! OGTHA is my favorite Reddit story and you just so happen to sell the hat! I wear it everyday now. I hate getting ready and doing my hair…so on my way to work now and putting my infamous OGTHA hat on!

Couldn’t imagine letting my boyfriend’s sisters/cousins/nieces go without being celebrated, regardless of personal feelings, it seems truly insane to just force someone be all by themselves during such a special time (insert caveat about their personal preferences here). The fam is wilding. If I heard about one of his friends’ ladies in this spot I would put in the effort there, too. I’m glad he has good bros, but the women do not pass the vibe check here…
