    Im doing the same in my oven, but cutting before adding dry rub and mustard with beef bratwurst.
    It's looking good so far!

    I love poor man’s burnt ends! Buying a whole brisket is too much for us! And chuck goes on sale so often. Those are like the primo smoked bite. But not too big.
    Now I have to try these too! Love your videos.

    this seems it would be so easy to ketofy. Use Swerve brown sugar, a no sugar rub and something like Sweet Baby Ray's no sugar BBQ or G Hughes - or make your own. Keep the carb count super low that way and still be absolutely delicious & health. Meat Heals

    I need to have a heart to heart with you. I use a master built electric smoker and do exactly what you say temp wise. Everything takes so much longer to cook at the temps you say. I did the jurky at 165 for 9 hours and it still wasnt done. What could i be doing wrong? I am new to smoking. 165 is a temp so it should in my mind be the same in any grill. Please explain

    • @Heygrillhey
      @Heygrillhey  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you sure your smoker is actually at the temperature you think it is? Try using a known accurate external thermometer and see what happens.

    Late to the party on this one,I might have to try,being a person who can only eat hotdogs basically crunchy like bacon.I have six pounds of Wagyu hot dogs from Sakura farms in Ohio it’s been the only hotdog I’ve been able to eat without cruncherizing it.👍

    Why not cut them into small pieces before smoking, to get more smoking surface and flavor?

    • @ryansamson2300
      @ryansamson2300 ปีที่แล้ว

      They would cook faster and end up being overcooked. Or not taking in as much smoke most likely.

  • @paulsom110684
